I've been meaning to watch this film for a long time now, but I've never really bothered to follow through on that desire. Lucky for me, I have a friend I tend to watch films with and I decided this should be one we watch today. Now, after having seen it, I can safely say one thing.

Some spoilers in this post, I rather enjoyed it, haven't seen a good Pokemon movie in years.

doctor Zed is by far the greatest villain I've seen in Pokemon in along time. The guy is basically a murderer and you don't see this often in Pokemon, I believe this film was pretty dark even for Pokemon.

The movie hit every note of a generic children's adventure film, but not really in a bad way. The side characters and locations were cool enough for this to be fine.

The animation was great. Very visually appealing movie, always something cool happening on screen. Shout out to the backgrounds, which were all phenomenal.

"Panic In The Streets" (1950) - A doctor and a policeman in New Orleans have only 48 hours to locate a killer infected with pneumonic plague.
Stars Richard Widmark, Jack Palance and Barbara Bel Geddes (She played 'Midge' in Hitchcock's "Vertigo". She's great in this film.)

I swear I was somehow always Team Edward. Maybe because (even then) Robert Pattinson looked hot and because I was semi-obsessed with Paramore! Seriously!? I still love the song "Decode"!
