This Saturday the Barcast have Bill Newton as a guest, voice of Thorax's brother, Applejack's father, and other MLP characters! Like, an actual show voice actor, which is really cool. I would wholeheartedly recommend that you go and ask him some questions (although there are a few more limitations than usual).
So this story was a particular challenge to write for, one because it was in multiple chapters but also for the fact that its part of the Original Pairings Contest, so finding two characters who've never interacted in the show and imagine how they would interact is an interesting challenge.

*Standing nearby, staring* "...Um... Fortuna? Did Kydra slip some kind of language barrier potion in your water this morning?"

Once he finally reached the second floor, the shadow glided down a corridor leading to a partially open door, quite possibly a bedroom. Hesitantly, he reached out a shadowy foreleg and nudged it, wincing at the unexpectedly loud creaking omitted as it opened further. That was when he wandered inside the room
It should be noted this takes place before the family had reunited with Metamorphosis and had access to necessary things like prescription medicines – also let’s all pretend that pills to lower the tone of your voice exist because this doesn’t work otherwise. Read on.
Thorax, Pharynx, Ember, and Tempest had just sat down together at their usual lunch table. After being separated due to their varying grade levels, they were glad to have a minute to reunite.

The three changelings sat behind cover as the magic beams continued flying at them. They looked at each other, before nodding and standing up.
The guard Captain raised his hoof up. “Hold fire! I think they’re surrendering!”
The guards stopped firing, looking at the changelings, who were growling. “Haha! We’re victorious!” one guard cheered.
On the 2nd of May, 2020, a few of us at the Fimfiction Discord server tinkered around with a Shipping Generator - the May 2020 Pairing Contest had just begun, and we were throwing ideas around to see which one sticks.

The Fangs trotted through the hive, looking for Thorax and Pharynx, as they were trying to settle a debate between each other. They heard voices coming from the throne room, and headed that way.
They walked in.
“Hey Thor, can you tell these idiots it’s milk, then cereal and not—”
“What did you just call me?!” Pharynx’s voice rang out, and they saw him glaring at Thorax.
“Hello?”
“Hey Pharynx, what's up?”
“I need your, help, can you come here?”
“Uhh, I can't, I'm buying clothes.
“Alright, well hurry up and come over here.“
“Uhh, I can't find them.”
What do you mean you 'can't find them'?
“I can't find them, there's only soup.”
Stinger stared at the bowl in front of him while Dagger, Blue, Pharynx and Tempest sat beside him. “I must do this,” Stinger said, looking at the milk and then get the cereal box. “I have to put milk before cereal.”
The others except Blue gasped.
“But there has to be another way!” Dagger said.
“No... I must...”
Blue groaned. “Just eat it and stop with that medical drama bullcrap!”
“Shut up Blue!” they all shouted in unison.
“There you are, Rami. How was your job?”
“It went well, not many ponies showed up but atleast I get longer breaks,” Ramirez said as she approached Bezier and Pharynx, stretching her legs. “How about you Bez? How are…” noticing Pharynx she tried her best to hide her blush “P-Pharynx! H-how are you?”
“Eh, could be better, could be worse. I’m average.”
“A-Alright!” turning to Bez, still blushing lightly “c-can I talk to you for a moment? i-in private?”
"Come an' ge' me Cousin Hero!"
"I will!"
The two nymphs ran through the Hive, laughing as they enjoyed their game. Apex swerved and ran into an open doorway, which turned out to be the armory room.
The two nymphs skidded to a halt, as Hero eyed the dynamite eagerly. "Should we snag some...?"
"Nuh-uh, Uncle Pharynx sai' to ne'er touch the weapons wi'out his su...supe'...soup'ision!"

In S7E17 "To Change a Changeling" Thorax used an flashback to explain Pharynx's behavior, revealing more canon information about Changelings.
(Note: I will limit this post to the "original" Changelings; the new reformed Changelings aka Changedlings won't be mentioned here.)
