Watch_Dogs free on Uplay right now · 5:55pm Nov 7th, 2017
Just go figure out what the heck your Uplay login was, login, and there should be a banner near the top.
Not quite sure what the occasion is, but the offer lasts the week out.

So, three of my minor interests are military stuff, the culinary arts, and history.
So I'm tickled pink whenever I find something that's about all three at the same time. Like this dude, 'Steve1989MREinfo.'
As you can probably decipher from the name, he's a MRE (Meal Ready to Eat) effectionado. Ever played Metal Gear and had your ass saved by a Ration? Yeah, he reviews slash tries those things.
Jesus, ten years already? Gosh, I feel old.
Anyway, one of the best horror and sci-fi games ever made. The graphics still hold up shockingly well without being that taxing on your rig, and I've never seen a studio just completely grok sound in a vacuum on the level the now sadly defunct Visceral Games did in this series.
Definitely check it out, if you haven't already.
Chapter 2 of A Journey into Alchemy is in the works. I just wanted to let everyone know, since I do have a track record of dying and not respawning soon at all. When I say I'll do a chapter every week, the day of release will probably be different. It's less of a 7 day cycle thing, and more of a sometime between Sunday and Saturday each week. So, it may be a couple days, but I do plan to get it done! The first chapter is a little slow, but the interesting stuff is going to start
From the dudes that went on to make Observer.
Personally from what I've seen of both games Layers is the flawed but interesting prototype of the two... but hey, free game, right?
(Minor scares spoilers in the review.)
HELLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
There's something going on at BronyCon this year where people are bringing physical books of their fics to sell! I'm gonna to do this! Yeah!
yeah
The question: does anyone care? I have a pretty good idea of what fics I'd include:
Know the dentist appointment I mentioned previously? The one I'm bad-ish enough to be looking forwards to?
Didn't get a reminder today, and my dentist has an automated system for that. Thus, worried, I checked my papers for the booking from last time.
It's... not August 8th. It's September 8th.
I somehow totally miss-remembered the damned date with a whole month.
See: Title.
Highly recommend you nab this one if you haven't played it, even if you've never heard of it.
It's one of those rare bits of media so good, that it basically killed its own genera for decades. Even today, you seldom see space-fighter games, and the very few that pop up almost unerringly get compared with this one gold standard game.
Heard great things about this one, though haven't played it myself.
(Can recommend that channel too, funny and insightful guy. Has pointed me towards some real hidden gems.)
Cross post from Discord:
Microids are giving away both Syberia 1 & 2 to hype up a forth sequel I had no idea was in-coming.

Pretty decent Adventure games. Used to be some of the prettiest in the whole genera, and I've heard some good things.
So basically for everyone who is wondering about me updating all stories with exception of
'Gray the Necromancer'
Well...
My muse just strikes hard and my insomnia allowed me to proofreading some more.
But i doubt i can hold this update streak for long on badicly all my stories with one chapter eatch.
As you see if you checked my last blogs, i started this year alone two new stories.
Work is hard, breaking the writer’s block is even harder. 2022 was a mess for me, but I aim to make my life in 2023 better, at least creativity-wise. I’m starting to get back into my writing groove, though. Possibly a new chapter soon, we’ll see.
If you’ve been waiting, bless you and your patience.
Heard some mixed things, but it's a very pretty little sports game. Definitively not flawless by any means, but there's some cool design stuff and locals in this game.
Free over on Uplay until the 23th. Just open the client, and there should be a pop-up near the top.
Think I've written about it once or twice before, but summa summarum:
Campfire is a very sleek, and alas, VERY pricey writing tool I've had my eye on for a while. Basically lets you do the world-building & outline stuff I already do with subfolders and a thousand G-doc documents, but with far quicker hyperlinks and stuff.
Alas, the darn thing costs as much as an AAA video game normally, so haven't really gotten around to trying it out for some myserius reason.
I normally don't write about games where you need to jump through hoops to get games, I find it rather scummy...
Going to make an exception in this case, since this is one of those barely remembered classics that just got passed over in the pre-Internet age, and I have a lot of respect for Rebelion the studio. They're... odd, and generally do their own thing. A refreshing rarity for a AA studio their size.
I'm glad I asked the question... the ones who commented gave me an idea for the jackpot.
Pretty decent racer from what I've heard.
The Humble page is being tanked right now from interest, and it's 'while supplies last,' so be on your toes if you want this game.
No he's not King Sombra
Okay, I've spent most of my writing time this year working on an original novel. A novel about melodramatic talking animals. If it has an audience, you guys are it. If anyone's down to beta read a 80K word original fantasy novel send me a PM. It's similar to the following pony stories:
