First I was plagued by writer's block, then when I actually got some inspiration and motivation I was at a Cage The Elephant concert on Friday night, then I was on a 24 hour stream to reset my sleep schedule. Now that I've finished many of my tests at school, I may be able to begin updating the series at a more rapid pace. At the same time as I've began to "wrap up" the current story arc, I've been mentally preparing ideas to write in the sequel to the series, "The Second War".

This is me finally noticing the thresholds I've broken with My Little Exalt. With The Invisible Fortress, Day Three I broke the 100,000 word threshold (though if you exempt the original prologue from the word count, I didn't break that threshold until the most recent chapter, The Invisible Fortress, Night Terrors). 100,000 words puts me indisputably in the realm of novel-length. Hay there I know it’s been a while. My upcoming story is in editing and we are about 57 pages into about 106 pages we’re working on it as fast as we can, releasing on here late spring early summer. I want to cry with how long this is taking, and in between school and work, and now being in December. The holidays coming, I feel like I failed you all the promise of a story, and I’m sorry. Please find it in your heart to give me a chance again and please read the story, when it’s ready.

Because I was dissatisfied with the story direction and previous chapters of "The Man In The Moon", I have temporarily unsubmitted it for reworking.

It should be back sometime in September-October, after I get back from vacation.

UPDATE: Not even two hours later, it's back up. Minor changes have been made to amp up the emotional parts of the chapter.

It's about 2 AM at the time I'm writing this, pretty normal as far as I go.
