Dreams of Forever: Chapter 16 · 6:10am May 11th, 2022
UPDATE: Not even two hours later, it's back up. Minor changes have been made to amp up the emotional parts of the chapter.
It's about 2 AM at the time I'm writing this, pretty normal as far as I go.
Anyway, I was reading 'I'm Trying' (M-rated, so I can't directly link to it) and I had reached Chapter 9. To avoid spoilers, I'm going to simply say that it's given me pause to go back to improve the arc started in Chapter 15. I've unpublished Chapter 16 for the time being while I work on improving it (and future chapters relating to what happened). I'm going to deal with my own personal hangups about writing something like that, and hopefully will give a more meaningful arc on Somnia's path to healing.
I believe the story deserves something better than what I've written, and I'm not going to let it fall through the cracks to move on to the next phase of the story (which is more-or-less done for over a dozen chapters).
