Dreams of Forever: Chapter 31 · 9:01pm Apr 10th, 2023
Hello everypony!
Chapter 31 is up for you all! Thought I would provide a little update on the story too:
I'm approaching the 50% mark (finally)! The story is coming along at a decent pace, although editing is still very much necessary.
The last half should consist of shorter more focused chapters that are all serialized, which means progress should be steady from here on out. I still have the last three true Slice of Life chapters to complete, but I'm hoping to get them done by the end of the summer while I work forward on the critical pieces of the story.
So far 226,872 words have been published so far, but a total of about 458,000+ have been written with more coming every few days! My most recent focus has been turning toward getting the final arc rolling that will lead to the story's climax. I doubt another 450,000+ words will come out of the last half, so sadly I won't reach the coveted 1,000,000 words mark on this story.
Hope you enjoy the most recent chapter and I look forward to when I can publish the chapters regularly to finish off Somnia's story! It has been an awesome journey into improving my writing and figuring out what works and what doesn't, and I hope to translate some of it over to any other stories I do in the future!
