On August 26th, it was explicitly confirmed on Japanese Sun and Moon website that the Arcanine we saw in the trailer would be the form it would take in the games. This means that there is no Water-type Arcanine coming to generation seven.

Things have continued to be busy, for real life job hunting reasons. There has been progress, albeit slow, on Chapter 4 and subsequent chapters! I won’t make any promises on timeline of release, but I can promise there’s no need to worry about the story dying out or being abandoned.
