Thoughts on "The Hearth's Warming Club" · 5:19pm Aug 10th, 2018
Come on, a fourth Hearth's Warming episode? Dude, give me that third Nightmare Night episode!
And also, stop showing your holiday specials months before December. It's annoying.

This is one of the few things on my wishlist that I can safely say was on everyone else's.
Well, in doing other things like real life stuff, art, writing, and trying to finish my little Party Pony Thingamabubby, I neglected my episode thoughts. Since I've got four episodes to catch up on, I ought just do short, quick thoughts on these things.
Ready, Sketch? GO!
Well, since I'm bored and this thingamabubby is late, let's have this thing... and hopefully I'll get to Campfire Tales soon.
Because I'm a week late for the last one and the new ep just aired.
Anyway, read along for my thoughts on "The Parent Map" and "Non-Compete Clause".
Oop, don't want to forget to do this before the 200th episode drops.
And now, time to look at the shortest season, which I hear is a controversial one. Heck, over on DeviantArt, when I expressed that Season 8 was my least favorite season, someone wondered why it wasn't the 3rd season instead. True, it does have some episodes I'm no fan of, but the moments I really liked stuck out to me too much for me to really hate this season (plus, it doesn't have that stupid School of Friendship).
Hey, a Yak-related episode that's actually kind of decent.
If you want my story about me stressing out over a library item... well, once when I was a kid, I mangled a cassette tape when trying to figure out which side goes where in the cassette player and how to rewind it. I can't remember if Mom got it fixed or not, all I know is that I was freaking out over ruining it and how we were going to explain it to the librarian.
And thus, I cannot be called a perfect book borrower... or cassette borrower, for that matter.
Ahahahahahahahaha I missed a week. Oopsy-doopsy.
Both of these episodes had me thinking of other shows for different reasons.
Okay, ignoring the recent leaks that are slapping everyone on the face so I can focus on the US releases and digest them properly. Let's see how the Summer Sun Celebration nearly goes awry this time.
Fast as lightning, sharp as a sword
No, I don't mean the two-part season finale, but the previous two episodes.
I just got done watching the new episode and I really did enjoy it. I'm still trying to wrap my mind around all that happen in this one episode. There is one pony that I'm still don't know what to think of right now. Bon Bon a.k.a Spacial Agent Sweet Drops. And we can't forget Doc. All we were missing was a nice blue box. I hope everyone enjoyed this episode as much as I did.
Who in Canada thought it was a good idea to air two new episodes a week? I think little kids can wait a week for a new episode--I know I survived a week between each new episode of (insert favorite childhood show here). And now the Internet has taken advantage of this schedule, and I gotta watch the episodes so I don't have to worry about spoilers... and post thoughts on them, because it's a thing I'm doing now.
Decided to post this closer to the US airdate so that I don't burn myself out on 2 episodes a week (though Canada's now just airing reruns and we've got a mid-season hiatus thing now...). My Memorial Day celebration was done yesterday, so I'm pretty much doing things as normal at work and home today.
Welp, guess I better get this one over with... I was putting this one off for a bit... I wasn't exactly looking forward to this one...
What's going on, homies?
I got a chance to see the new episode today, and I wanted to share my thoughts on a certain aspect of it. As per the usual, I'll avoid major spoilers.
But just in case, I'll throw in a page break. Check out my thoughts below!
No new episodes from Seasons 1-5 made the cut here compared to the second version, which can be found here. So instead, we're just going to look at the episodes of Season 6 that failed, and then compare them to the totals from Seasons 1-5 and find out how many episodes of the show have been a let down so far. Remember, this list is not official by any means.
I probably could've done this as early as the end of Season 5, or even the mid season hiatus in Season 6, but I decided to wait and see what would change in Season 6 and hopefully get a couple of new episodes to talk about. And now that we've got almost 150 episodes, I figure there's more than enough to do a list of my picks for the Top Fifty BEST Episodes of the show over the course of six seasons!
Applejack's "Day" Off: "Cut inefficiency out of your business by bringing in an outsider to give all your employees Lean Six Sigma training audit your processes and identify areas for improvement."
Flutter Brutter: "Get a job, you lazy bum (also, you'll never get good at anything if you don't stick with it, and also don't let fear of failure stop you from trying, but seriously, stop mooching off your parents and GET A JOB)."
So, is this still a show for kids?
