Oop, don't want to forget to do this before the 200th episode drops.
I'm gonna be the millionth person to say that this is Castle Sweet Castle all over again. Well, we had a funeral for one tree, might as well have a funeral for another--until it's reborn as a crystal clubhouse, which I don't know if it's anywhere near as powerful as the Tree, but it's powered by... friendship, I guess.
Yeah, you can probably tell that I'm 'meh' on this one. I think the song sounded pretty, but I forgot it. And I'm just unimpressed by the Student Six as a group--they can try to peddle to me that their friendship is sooper speshul and stuff, but I can't get into it. Which is weird, because I enjoy the individual characters of Gallus, Smolder, and Ocellus--especially Smolder when she's interacting with Spike. The other three... well, two bore me and the other wears me out a lot faster than Pinkie does.
Honestly, I liked Smolder's statue idea best.
But, whatever, if you enjoyed this episode, good on you. I just think it's okay.
Same here, Twilight’s Seven sounds hilarious though. I hope it’ll be a good episode after this meh one.
I feel strongly that if they just had like two of the student six at a time the way they did with a lot of early episodes for the mane 6, they could do a much better job developing their characters.
