G. M. Berrow doing what G. M. Berrow does well -- light, fluffy, entertaining filler. Nothing too deep or meaningful in here, and (as I always do) I missed most of the little pop culture nods (though even I got the main crossover theme!), but I had fun. It's not enormously memorable and I'd hope there'll be better eps this season, but no real complaints about this one. ★★★

Apparently most of the fandom thinks this was quite good at best. Oh well, looks like I'm out of step, then, because I adored it. Even its little flaws made it more lovable to me. It's far and away my favourite episode of S8 so far, and quite possibly top 20 of all time. Admittedly I'm biased because of Scootaloo swimming, but still. ★★★★

What if Celestia, Luna, Twilight and Cadence already had kirin traits?
My theory is that Nightmare Moon and Daybreaker could be the nirik personas and I'm assuming that Alicorn Twilight could also turn into Midnight Sparkle. Though I do wonder if Cadence has a dark persona.

Since the nirik persona is brought out through negative emotions and NM, DB and MS are also based on negative emotions, it kinda adds up according to me

SInce I was waiting for season 5 and 6 of My Little Pony to finish so that I could binge watch it. I then went on to the 8 episode of the 6 season. Turns out it was a Christmas Episode Parodying/Spoofing A christmas Carol by Charlie Dickens. Since I didn't want to be spoiled, and I didn't watch the movie yet, I stopped watching the episode to watch the movie.
