I figured I would do a quick character review of each of the Mane 5 from generation 5.
Sunny Starscout: Twilight Sparkle she is not, and that isn't a bad thing. Sunny is the hopeful idealist. Hope is both her greatest strength and her greatest weakness. Let's look at things Sunny says and does throughout the movie.
So the show is ending, how do I feel about that, well, I just feel like my childhood was destoryed, but I also feel excited to see what G5 is gonna be like.
So, in memory of Mlp Fim, I will be doing a photo and video collage on Friday, why Friday you ask, we'll be cause I can and I need time to get the perfect videos and pictures.
Also because I'm on holiday for half term in Tanzania and don't have my laptop with me and that's the thing I mostly use for blogs and stories etc.
Izzy Moonbow sings. "The warhead on your forehead; it's the source of your pride!"
Izzy stabs Sunny with her horn.
"Ow! Why did you do that!" Sunny screams
Izzy tilts her head. "Well, I just called it a warhead on my forehead; what did you except unicorns did with them?" She stops and pulls out a bandage, sticking it over Sunny's wound. "But I made custom-made band-aids! They have inspirational messages! Ta-da!"
Good news is I've recovered from the tummy troubles that Amoxicillin gave me.
Bad news is I'm cancelling Psychic Simian Insanity. Shocking, I know, considering I never cancelled a story before. But I figured it would work better in a more visual medium (and because I already got plenty of other stuff to do in my life).
Anyway, here's some G5 stuff as compensation:
Well, it seems like we can read on the continuing adventures of the Mane 5 in their debuting comic series with Issue #1. Followed by Issue #2.
I still didn't like it. The plot is still dumb, the message is still pretty ham-fisted, and while the main characters aren't the Mane Six clones that I thought they were, I feel most of them are a bit one-note. Oh, and there's also the inconsistencies between G4 and G5.
But because I feel like I'm repeating myself, let's move onto the things I did like:
We’re getting some big news about MLP G5.
We got new information about the My Little Pony 5th generation Netflix movie has finally been revealed by Entertainment Tonight. And here are some sneak peeks for for the MLP G5 movie.
Things I noticed during the Secrets of Starlight episode of Make Your Mark:
- Village in similar layout as Starlight Glimmer's village
- 2 Obvious name is obvious
- Starlight's village is on the border of the crystal empire in G4 (see expanded map for more details)
We're all excited to find out what Generation 5 will bring, so let's make a game of it. Get yourself a random bingo card here:
It has come to my attention that a picture book titled My Little Pony: A New Adventure, which is an adaptation of My Little Pony: A New Generation, has been leaked onto Tumblr:
Hasbro has decided to suddenly drop a clip from an upcoming My Little Pony: Make Your Mark episode, which is probably the first episode of Chapter 5. The video is 3 and a half minutes long.
Misty's new mane look basically isn't a spoiler at this point, and has been shown in merchandise, social media posts and almost everything else.
The episode is going to be released on Netflix in September, along with five other episodes.
Don't get me wrong, I still love G4, though. G4 is what got me into the fandom in the first place.
My gut reaction watching the G5 movie was positive. Lots of funny gags. First and foremost, I love the more realistic art style. The way the light scatters on the ponies' mane and fur, mwah, so nice. The ear fluff detail is especially adorable. (Although at certain points I get weird visions of Filly Funtastia and that freaks me out.)
Maretime Bay, Zephyr Heights, or Bridlewood?
Hello, Bronies and Pegasisters! Guess what, thanks to MLP: A New Generation, I am back in the MLP fandom! (The G5 fandom and maybe I might continue the G4 ones 😅)
And anyway, I'm thinking of making a G5 story! What'dya think? I think it'll be great! See ya there!
Okay, guys, here's the plan. After I get done with Air Buddies, I'm gonna do this one (and probably save Octonauts for a later season, just because). I would do Garfield Gets Real first, but to be quite honest... I like this one a lot better than the other one.
I'll be doing the rest of the Garfield movies in chronological order, so if you guys have any ideas for me (not the OCs, I have those covered), I would love to hear them!
