Yes my fellow nerds! These games were released 25 YEARS AGO (in Japan) TODAY!! We can now feel old.
Here's a bit of gameplay nostalgia for us:
February 2nd, 1999: Noggin launches as the newest purely preschooler/elementary schooler channel. Of course we'd still have the Nick Jr. programming block, but an entire channel that's JUST for the little kiddos? At the time, unheard of! Not even Disney had that yet (mind you, this was at least....13ish years before Disney Junior and about 6 years before Universal Kids [formerly PBS Kids Sprout]. So talk about a trail blazer!).
Happy 7th Anniversary to My Little Pony Friendship is Magic!
At 169 episodes and five feature films, it is now the longest animated series I have watched; beating out Digimon, Sonic X, and Animaniacs.
So to celebrate, have the start of a new story! Hope StarBurst fans enjoy!
Today marks my fifth year here on Fimfiction.
This year, I've either published or updated seven stories, while 2015 was pretty much my "one-shot" year, and 2014 was almost exclusively dedicated to my Mistress Do Well stories.
With 2017 bringing Season 7, more Equestria Girls, and the feature film, let's see what more content comes through me.
I've been a bit in a lull lately, but as always, thanks for reading!
Thanks to all my readers, and hope you are happy and well.
Wow. Another year has pass. I still can't believe it's been 3 years since I made the first 2 chapters of SiE. And somehow it has gained 177 likes and only 41 dislikes and favorited by many people. I am never gonna get used to people actually enjoying it.
Time to celebrate with these videos I uploaded today:
Original Worldwide release date: August 25, 1939
Yeah....this seemingly timeless film that generations of millions of Americans (and other countries as I'm sure it's gotten around quite a bit!), have watched and enjoyed countless times over and over, year after year for now 8 whole decades! Kudos!
Original Release Date: March 21st, 1997
(Honestly didn't know this one. I knew it came out in March of '97, but I didn't know when.)
What else can I say about this movie? It was beautiful. Tragic, but beautiful. Jennifer Lopez did an almost too good (I do mean ALMOST. Some bits didn't quite work) job at portraying the late "Queen of Tejano music". And now, for your ugly cry perusement, I present the final scene.
Wanted to write something purely for myself, as I've been fulfilling lots of requests, but didn't have too many ideas. Decided to revisit an old favorite with a small vignette.
Thanks to all my readers as always!

Yes it really is the 25th anniversary of Bear in the Big Blue House. How? Beats me, but I'm happy!

If it's one thing this show taught me in the 9 years it aired....it's how to say goodbye in the best possible way.
Airing-date wise, that is. Episode-wise, when Season 6 wraps up, Seasons 1-3 of Digimon will still have a very slim lead, at 155 episodes, to FiM's 143.
But I digress.
Happy 6th Anniversary, FiM.
So I was paging through my old files and found the original document I was using to draft Photo Dash. Out of blank curiosity, I checked the date it was first made. July 10, 2012. My first thought was, "Wow, I really should have published this sooner." My second thought, "Wait a minute, that's in less than a month and during Bronycon."
You all know what that means......
10th anniversary and 1st anniversary are both right around the corner
7 years of colored ponies that showed that it can be enjoyed by everyone, not just little girls. MLP FiM is such a great show.
Man. The story took a massive turn only four chapters in.
Because it seems like the thing to do today, and because I feel like I'd be missing out if I was the only one who didn't make one, here's my thoughts on 10 years:
Wow.
