TDIH: Noggin Launches as a TV Network · 2:45am February 3rd
February 2nd, 1999: Noggin launches as the newest purely preschooler/elementary schooler channel. Of course we'd still have the Nick Jr. programming block, but an entire channel that's JUST for the little kiddos? At the time, unheard of! Not even Disney had that yet (mind you, this was at least....13ish years before Disney Junior and about 6 years before Universal Kids [formerly PBS Kids Sprout]. So talk about a trail blazer!).

(The sign-on/sign-offs that most of us are probably most familiar with. Moose and Zee were the most prominent hosts, yet they were only the 3rd ever hosts. There were 2 other roles of hosts before them in '99 and '02 respectively yet I hardly remember myself.)
Fun fact: The N, ya know the more teen oriented block that would come on around 6 pm on Noggin? That didn't start til around 2002 and would end in 2007, when TeenNick would be a thing.
Alright, well enough dilly dalying about now. I'm tired and the groundhog didn't see his shadow so early spring for us...yay? Anywho, cheers for 25 years and Noggin is now an app and we've been alive WAY too long.
