    Well, color me impressed.

All 78 episodes on 2 discs, the translation is just as solid as the Hulu version, the subtitles are on by default, and they even translated the mid-episode character cards.

So I've been busy away from ponies... Again...

With my quest/race to get a Rainbow S on all of Freedom Planet 2's stages, my creativity lit up like a bonfire again, and I started crafting an alternate ending of sorts for the past week.

That story is now complete, and posted in its entirety over on AO3.

Happy Birthday, MLP! · 9:51am Oct 10th, 2017

Happy 7th Anniversary to My Little Pony Friendship is Magic!

At 169 episodes and five feature films, it is now the longest animated series I have watched; beating out Digimon, Sonic X, and Animaniacs.

So to celebrate, have the start of a new story! Hope StarBurst fans enjoy!

Wow 7th Anniversary. I remember joining the fandom around the end of season 4. I fall in love with all the pony media from devienart to fimfiction and I actually liked the EQG Movie on first viewing. I remember one of the many fimfictions I read was Cupcake Chronicles and soon after Letters.

I still find your Rainbow Rocks letter one of your best.

Overall, when the show does come to an end. At least let it be on a good note.

Huh, didn't realize that was today!

MLP definitely isn't my longest-running-watched show. Pokemon and Digimon definitely beat it out. Won't guarantee a perfect chronology with either, as I stopped watching Pokemon ages ago, but I definitely watch more than 169 episodes—definitely up through Battle Frontier and then watched a few (fewer than 10 episodes combined) of the later generations sporadically, though I'm not following it anymore—and absolutely more than 5 of the movies. Definitely at least up to Black and White.
I watched Digimon all the way up through Frontier (y'know, the Spirit Evolutions one), and then skipped Savers and watched Fusion on Netflix (not the whole thing from what I can see—I think only two seasons). I've watched all of Animaniacs also, but they only had 99 episodes, so like you said, MLP has beat them out (sorry, Warner kids).

I think those are the only series I've watched that have run as long as they have. I've watched other series since my youth, like Xiaolin Showdown and some other Kids' WB shows, but they didn't run this long. It only felt like it as a kid. There might be others that are slipping my mind, but as far as I remember, Pokemon and Digimon were the only ones that 'mattered.' :derpytongue2:

Something I will never regret

Wow, it's been 7 years already.
