Longest Animated Series I've Watched · 11:14am Oct 10th, 2016
Airing-date wise, that is. Episode-wise, when Season 6 wraps up, Seasons 1-3 of Digimon will still have a very slim lead, at 155 episodes, to FiM's 143.
But I digress.
Happy 6th Anniversary, FiM.
Happy Anniversary to MLP FIM!!!
Ditto. Its been a Tartarus of a ride.
And season 7 is confirmed so it's gonna be even longer.
The longest animated series I've ever watched, going by single name incarnation alone, has been Dragon Ball Z clocking in as 291 episodes and 15 feature-length animated movies.
4249403 Yeah, season 7 will have FiM overtake Digimon in my case, as well as inch closer to longest TV series overall; I began watching '24' on a weekly basis just about halfway through season 2, so that would make that seven-and-a-half years. And that's final, because I don't count the upcoming Legacy, which is technically a reboot, and has not caught my fancy yet.

Well technically the longest series still on TV is the Simpsons. I don't think anything is going to get close to that one.
I'd argue that season 3 of digimon was a whole new animal, but yeah, it's certainly an impressive milestone to approach.
4249468 I meant shows that I have watched year in, year out.
Every episode of Batman: The Animated Series was my longest one (from TAS to Batman and Robin to Beyond to Justice League/Unlimited).
