Happy 80th Anniversary "The Wizard of Oz" · 4:43am Aug 25th, 2019

Original Worldwide release date: August 25, 1939
Yeah....this seemingly timeless film that generations of millions of Americans (and other countries as I'm sure it's gotten around quite a bit!), have watched and enjoyed countless times over and over, year after year for now 8 whole decades! Kudos!

Fun Fact: This movie has been in the public domain for so long that literal millions of parodies/spoofs/homages/stage productions/screen productions and other media exist for this particular film alone!

I loved this film ever since childhood.

I feel this film is a staple for every childhood!

I love this movie and found it amazing in the tom and jerry version the Scarecrow is still packing a gun.
