I remember a long time ago, when I was writing the Twilight fic Desire and Deep Water, how I wanted to make Nurse Redheart's diagnosis on hypothermia as feasibly accurate as possible, so I researched it mid-writing. It's not unusual for me to do this sort of thing, apparently, since i did something similar in Tempest's fic with researching fireworks and their gunpowder properties.
Hmmm....
Okay, I know this will shock everyone because it almost never happens, but I think I made a mistake.
Looking over everything I have written and laid out for Exiles, I took the “Dark” tag off. Granted, there will be dark moments here and there, but that really isn’t what the story is about.
Which in and of itself is no big deal, but I hate to think I might have turned off prospective readers unnecessarily.
Remember when I said I got some good news in the mail. It was for this:
Hopefully this means more folks will discover the story, but in any case, it's nice to be considered good enough to share with the community. Many thanks to everyone who's been supporting the story. I am grateful to you all.
I wanna give a special shout-out to the super-talented xoxPinkiePiexox for some brand-new cover art on my first EG fic, "One More Dance"! Take a look at it, and take a look HERE for more works of art. Good stuff!!
Thank you!
Thank you again to everyone who read, gave thumbs ups, favorited, and commented on Omnomnomicon. I'm blown away that it spent almost 2 days in the feature box (non-mature). And it managed 1,000 views and 150 thumbs up before falling out of the popular stories box. I'm absolutely chuffed.

(Note: I'm interested in reviewing films in my spare time and this is going to be a long one. In fact, it might well be Part 1 of something. But it probably won't mean much to anyone not familiar with Nicholas Nickleby by Charles Dickens or its adaptations. In that event, maybe you're just curious about why I'm worked up, maybe you consider it justice for me defending divisive stuff like the Disney remakes or Star Wars Sequel Trilogy or maybe you are genuinely interested in Dickens in which
Pinkie Pie seems enthused.
IT'S FINALLY HERE, YOU GUYS! It's Summer...and I...shall...DANCE!!!!
Uh, uh, uh. Okay, that's enough Oh, and also, Happy Father's Day
When they said they were going to be making Equestria Girls shorts, I thought they were gonna be, y'know, short. Five minutes tops, like those things that aired before Rainbow Rocks, or My Past Is Not Today. Dance Magic is a full 22-minute episode!
I'm submitting my music to Ponyville Live, and having it sent to dozens of other little Brony radios.
That's just a little update on that. I'm very glad people who I have created songs for like their themes.
What? That's the best thing I can call it.
Warning: Spoilers abound. Proceed with caution.
So, yeah. Instead of one big movie, we have three episode-length stories stapled together. And it premiered early in Poland. And I found the episodes on YouTube, so I don't know how DHX is going to officially release them, or if they have already.
...
This is a weird year for MLP.
Anyway, follow me below the break, and I'll just share some random thoughts I had.
Holy smokes! I’ve reached my 220th blog post!
I’m really on fire with these blog posts, am I?
So, today, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to celebrate reaching 220 by showing you all another really excellent video.
This YouTube video is a compilation of clips from episodes of Disney’s “Phineas and Ferb”, made by Zpd2da. In it, the characters from the show are singing and dancing to “Everybody Dance Now”.
Does anybody here even remember Buddy Holly? I was curious about what happened to the guitar he played on the very last tour and final days of his life, The Winter Dance Party. This was back in 1959, and Buddy was one of the first musicians to play a Fender Stratocaster, a prototype model, at best. It went missing when he died, being unaccounted for. He also only owned three guitars - a 54, a 56 and a 58.
