You know how windows likes to randomly interrupt whatever you're doing with 'totally necessary updates' in the middle of your work?
Yeah...
Good news, nothing was lost. Bad news... nothing was gained.
So... financial issues.
As many of you know, I have been receiving a 500 dollar check for rent every month from my parents. Problem is... they've been hit with finance troubles of their own, mostly due to their careers being downgraded for... reasons. The takeaway is that they will send me less money, which is reasonable, and that I need to go over my own finances, which is reasonable.
So... before the end of the month, I managed to publish two chapters over on AO3. The Purchase and another bit of Harry Potter and the Redheaded Alien Warrior.
And I am still working on pony and taking commissions...
Okay, week 2 update, I think I'm getting the hang of this.
Firstly, I'm gonna announce that chapter 9 of "fixing the balance" is finally out. Now, it was a pain in the flank to finish off, but I'm just glad to have some weight of my shoulders. I will start chapter 10 whenever I feel it's convenient to do so, probably some point over the next week, but for now, I'm gonna take a breather.

I have good news for Bon Hadescream fans! The completion of the current story arc is finally written. It just needs editing and proofreading before I'm ready to start posting chapters. I've been working hard to get all the remaining chapters pre-written, so that once I begin posting there will be no more pauses. Hopefully, Bon Hadescream will be completed very soon!
No new stuff yet, sadly. My English professor thought it okay to deviate from the schedule and tell my class last Tuesday that she was bumping up the date for our next essay's rough draft.
To that Thursday.
Needless to say, that threw off my groove. I'm working to finish that last Obamaverse chapter, and I've got the start of a Fear: Equestrian Mythos chapter/story that I'm trying to get done by Halloween.
Hey folks. Do you know what happens next week?
After months of work, I get to close the draft for Starforge. Because today? Today I was working on the epilogue. That’s right. The last chapter is over and done. The final battle, from start to finish (and I count start as the moment it engages, not the prelude) weighed in at 68,000 words. The draft right now is sitting at about 493,000 words.
No dividing this one up, I got zero shit done this week.
First I was plagued by writer's block, then when I actually got some inspiration and motivation I was at a Cage The Elephant concert on Friday night, then I was on a 24 hour stream to reset my sleep schedule. I would've written on the stream, but I was supposed to participate in the activities on stream and didn't want to forsake that.
So yeah, sorry guys.

So, I want to emphasize this: THE INFINITE LOOPS ARE ALWAYS NONPROFIT AND I AM SO PROUD OF THEM.
So proud.
But I acknowledge the works they're based on might not be appropriate for younger audiences. The Camp Camp loops, for instance, which I just started.
I've gotten her squid, ponies, and platypi, but now she insists on starting a new story about programs who are also girls.
I've written another chapter for Harry Potter And The Redheaded Alien Warrior, and Coffeeshop SAGA has been started if you want to see zombies serving zombies.
I did also update Long Loop The Queen, but as part of the infinite loops project I'm not patreonizing that.
Yeah.
Um.
So yeah, nothing happened. Well, AO3 wise. I've been working on Infinite Loops stuff, but that's all nonprofit (but wonderful BTW you should totally look into it the MLP loops just updated). And other projects are trucking along.
....also wednesday is my birthday, so, you know, if anybody... actually cares about that... I do have a Ko-fi.
Many of you by now have seen Silver Lining, and commented on its unfinished state. I'll level with you: It's meant to be unfinished. It's not about accomplishing the goal, but the feeling of working toward it. The anticipation. The buildup.
I realize that's frustrating. It bugged me when I found out that was what the story was about too. But the words sometimes say "This is what we want," and I have to take it.
For my supporters, fans of suspense, and fellow Splatoon aficionados, the first chapter of Running Ink is out. And for those of you who missed it, yes, I did update Sunscarred. (Both of these will be patreonized.)
For future reference, if I DON'T make an AO3 alert after the month has started, please assume my muse has taken an unexpected vacation, because that's what happened this time. The girl was out of the studio for two whole weeks. Didn't even warn me, just "Ugh, everything is too much!" and went to Panama.

I'm rather embarrassed for the lack of posts yesterday. Was camping down south without internet. However walking/running 15 miles has killed my legs, so I'm confined to sitting for now.
But sitting means more writing!
I was looking around to see if writing commissions were a thing. Kind of like art commissions, but for writing instead!
you may or may not have noticed that the old mixed up with the sad cover is gone, and the new mixed up with its ~shiny "new" cover~ is up.
it has been completed!
there are six parts for this rewrite, and i'll be editing each part and posting a new one every week.
since it's finished, hopefully i don't somehow mess up with posting weekly
