In short, I’m happy to report that the next Continuation and Chronicles release is just a few days away, and I’m finally starting to feel more myself again. Harmonic Resonance is lagging, however, as I’m just finding the going very tough there.
It’s currently coming in at just shy of 11k words and will probably end up being around 12k, once all editing passes are complete and it’s been fleshed out just a little bit more. For all the trouble writing this gave me at times—it’s the first Feathered Hearts battle scene where I wasn’t working directly from one in the original story and had to come up with it completely from scratch, including inventing a new pure Cloven form and determining how they would use corrupted
With two chapters of Midnight Rising released along with two M-rated chapters of Feathered Hearts - Continuation and Chronicles this month, all that leaves is the final thing I promised—a new chapter of Nightmare Night. I said I’d have one out in time for Halloween, and having worked on it steadily all week, I’m pleased to say it will be ready, launching Monday (Halloween) night.
Well, folks, after a very successful release of all my previously unpostable Feathered Heart chapters—five new likes! 
—there is one last order of business for me to finish before I shift over to Unleash the Magic for the next six weeks, and that’s the promised next chapter of Feathered Hearts.
Harmonic Resonance Chapter 7 - Twilight Part 1/2 will launch on Sunday morning, likely weighing in at around 10.5k words. For all the trouble it gave me, it seems to have come together pretty well in the end as I’m more or less satisfied with it. I’m just waiting for word from the commissioner and a couple prereaders.
Though I’d hoped to have it draft complete by the previous weekend, the final ascension chapter of Harmonic Resonance is coming quite slowly, for the reason stated in the title. I’m only 5k words into it even after a week-plus, and I rather suspect that’s going to end up being less than half the size of what’s probably going to end up being a 12k-word chapter.

Today I come to you with some news about a reading I did previously from an author named Pabrony, the story in question titled as Dark Sunset. A while ago, I was talking with Pabrony on YouTube, discussing the matter of Dark Sunset's rewrite in which it has been remastered and improved from the first version. I ended up promising that I'd look into recording it one day if I ever got the chance, so long as I gave him a heads up.
But Feathered Hearts - Eros is on deck, as it’s the most overdue of all my active stories for a new chapter.
It seems to have come together rather nicely in the end, settling in at not far under 12k words with more likely to be added before it goes live. I think with this one, readers will like the coda as much as the main action, and there’s a good measure of side action in here as well that might set the stage for future bonus material. It’s going to be a big one, with 9400 words already written and several sections still to write or complete. If it gets too big I’ll break it up again, but for now, it remains intact. Two weeks late, a new Nightmare Night chapter is finally nearing completion. My apologies for the delay, but my muse has been elsewhere (on Feathered Hearts) and it just had not been coming quickly. I’m currently turning the first half of Feathered Heart Chapter 4 into a brand new chapter, fleshing it out with a great deal of new content, especially at the start. It should be available within the next day or so, tipping the scales at over 11k words.
First, I have a new Feathered Hearts - Continuation and Chronicles chapter in prereads, but even when the edits are in, I’m not going to release it yet. I promised before that I would not release more until I got the story written to the start of the Cloven War, at which point I’ll release the chapters in rapid-fire, one per day or every other day. I expect that to happen by Christmas if not sooner. Consider it my Xmas gift to readers, if so.
Getting up for work this morning was a bit rough, even three days after my return from Vegas and the three-hour time difference from there to here.
After a full year away. Sorry, folks, but so many other things had my attention and priority before this. The ending of the story has to wait for Midnight Rising to be finished in order to properly set up the climax, but there’s room for at least one and possibly two more intermediate chapters in the meantime.

The reason is that I have some additional enhancements requested by the commissioner, who has to approve them—after I’ve finished them, that is, though it shouldn’t be much longer. At this point, expect something north of 12.5k words, meaning you’ll be getting a very juicy double-decker burger of a chapter with the first half dedicated to finishing Twilight/Midnight’s transformation. Expect it to happen in suitably sensual fashion, with two new fetishes

The latest chapter I was writing reached close to 9000 words by the time I was through with it, meaning it was big enough to be broken in two. It's now with prereaders, and this means that the US Marine M14 Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR) belonging to the side story is now loaded with the full ten-round magazine I sought before launch.
With the massive double-length chapter of Eros released and seemingly well-received, and the next Continuation and Chronicles chapter now draft complete and currently scheduled for release on Sunday morning, I just wanted to let folks know what’s upcoming for the Feathered Hearts main story. Some very general spoilers for future content follow, so if you don’t want to see it, don’t read past the jump.
