I finished Chapter 2 of "Dreamwalker Dash" today, so it's time for its release! Arrived in Canterlot, Rainbow Dash gets led by Luna to a historic place, where she finds out what kind of ancient knowledge it is that Luna wants to show her.

As far as fanfic goes, I'm currently actively working on three stories. Two of them are new ones I mentioned when I ended my hiatus - Rariquest and Her Chosen Princess of the Sun. As an aside, I've found Cozy Glow's character to be quite close to the character I was going for with Sunset Shimmer in Her Chosen Princess of the Sun, though the role they fill is very different so I still want to get around to writing that eventually. The bigger issue is the Season 9 Premiere addressed the same
Due to recent events, my release schedule will change a bit for this week. Instead of writing a new chapter for "Dreamwalker Dash" and "Letters to Cozy Glow", I will start a new project this week and will focus on that until Sunday.
I got a message from someone asking me if I need help with writing "Dreamwalker Dash". They seem to fear that I have abandoned the story, so I'm clarifying that here:
"Dreamwalker Dash" is NOT dead.
I kept trucking along at the revision yesterday. I had to stop rather soon, because after a day of intense revising, my mind didn't really manage to stay focused anymore. Since I can't afford that the revision fails, I decided to stop after revising after about one fifth of Chapter 3.
So, I had a specific idea for this chapter in mind. But then, a sudden inspiration struck me and now this idea has been replaced by a different idea. One that will allow me to bring more depth into the story. The only downside is that this particular idea will also cause the release of the chapter to shift. As I wasn't fully familiar with the topic of my new idea, I had to do a bit of research and read a lot, which took up a good amount of writing time.
This was a shaky week. I wasn't sure when this chapter will be ready, hence why there was no blog entry so far, but now it's done. Chapter 14 of "Dreamwalker Dash" is finished, coming with a pivotal point in the story, and will release tonight! Check your bookshelves and feeds at 10:00 PM EST!

We have an unexpected new character making her debut in this chapter, one who I decided to write into the story only very recently when I began working on it. And we have buildup for something that will be of significant importance for the story later on!

Here is a lifesign from Luna, Rainbow Dash and our new hero Hyper Sonic! The last remaining chapter to be revised is almost done to 2/3 and I should be able to do the rest today in the next few hours. Which means I'll likely be able to republish Chapters 1 - 3 over the course of this week, before a better and rewritten version of Chapter 4 will land here next Wednesday.
The long wait for "Dreamwalker Dash" will be over soon. I have picked up work on Chapter 9 again this week and next week, on Wednesday, the story will finally return to updating!

Chapter 11 of "Dreamwalker Dash" is finally released. Writing this chapter was quite a strain this week and I won't burden you with the detail of how many hours it took me to get this small amount of words out. A rather strong feeling of discouragement because I failed to deliver a chapter last week combined with a feverish cold that I'm battling right now, turned writing this chapter into a slog. I have picked up Chapter 13 of "Dreamwalker Dash" again today. My condition with writing it is strange at the moment. Writing it was a strain today and I pushed on as long as I could, but then the pressure got too strong and I had to stop. Somehow, this CGI announcement about Generation 5 has seriously messed me up at the moment. I forced myself to write today, but now I feel doing that was too soon.
Right here. It hasn't gone anywhere. I failed at producing a chapter last week, after Friday fell victim to sleep deprivation from preparing an extensive chapter of "Letters to Cozy Glow" for an entire night and the morning after and then the remaining days of the week still had me feel like a slog in the aftermath of this, so additional writing time was made impossible.
