Contra the title, we'll start with art. I've been messing around with my Wacom tablet lately, and started doing some landscapes! Spoiler: I'm bad at landscapes.

The comics never stopped being a thing, though Discord trying to destroy magic in the name of peace certainly never factored into any other G5 media. Such is the risk you take when trying to fill the gap without any idea of what’s to come. Could be worse. We could have had an Archie Comics Sonic the Hedgehog situation. (Long story there, with many echidnas.)
Today, we here about how great a pony is, welcoming ponies to his world, putting his hoof in theirs, telling them they'll never walk alone, and generally offering something for everypony. And yet, though he seems second to none, everypony else seems to be feeling the moody blues.

With the second layer of backlog and my most recent contest resolved, we return to the previous threefold rotation of fan animation, webcomics, and official novels. Specifically resuming the interrupted exploration of Minty Root’s work.
Always a bit awkward to dust off an old save file and try to remember what you were doing at the time. Fortunately, Moonstuck is very forgiving for returning players. The game all but plays itself. 
I’ve been looking forward to this one. The premise is as fascinating as it is surreal: A classic novel presented in comic form, with the G4 cast filling the roles. Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women, no less.
Greetings my fellow bronies from around the world. Yes, it has been along time since we've done one of these. Hasn't it? Reason kinda being is that I'm running out of ideas now XP. Well, not so much ideas but really good ones to put up. I'm sure I'll get more as the season goes on (which is doing pretty good by the way), but we're going to be doing a special adoption agency today.
Between the Tell Your Tale schedule shift and the last issue of Little Fillies not coming out until next month, we’ve abruptly come to the end of the G5 backog. This was originally meant to go in a bridge week for the next Tell Your Tale blog, but sometimes reality doesn’t cooperate with my schedule. In any case, I like to commemorate every contest I run by making cards for each entrant, and now’s as good a time as any for my most recent one.
Now that I’ve returned from and thoroughly described Everfree Northwest, it’s time to make up for lost time. After all, keeping Luna waiting on the moon rarely ends well.

I'm not gonna lie to any of you. This next chapter has been the hardest one for me to put together. The fights have been epic, and some of the dialog has revealed so much that had previously been left unsaid. It's all going to be hard to top without repeating setups or combat styles and similar back and forth.
And so we bid adieu to the hiatus and hello to what may be an even more metareferential episode than “Slice of Life,” though with far less Derpy. Let’s dive in.

Random Fact: It is late, my mind is on low-power mode, I’ve been using my PC as a home theater since 10 pm, and having a Sound Blaster installed is probably the best thing since PC bleeper speakers.

Happy Boxing Day! Needless to say, this one was prepped in advance. I appreciate all of you, but I’m not spending Christmas Day writing a card blog. Besides, who wants last minute gifts?
