Illya Leonov has done me another kindness and lent his deep rich voice to the reading of my story, Space, Intentionally Left Blank. I am approximately twice as pleased as punch. Please have a listen! You can also listen to it, or download it, at Soundcloud.
My friend André S Ninja did a lovely dark reading of White Space (LINK), and now he wants to do readings of YOUR stories! check out his Youtube channel or,
So, last night I went to see "First Man". It's a movie about:
(1) a man who can't deal with his own emotions, and really can't deal with other human beings when under stress;
(2) how wide Claire Foy can dilate her pupils; and
(3) how Buzz Aldrin was a completely gratuitous dick, even more so than history records.
First, a plug for the dead-tree Maretian project. (To the best of my knowledge, this is being done at cost- at least, the numbers add up to about what a printer would charge for POD deluxe editions plus postage. I'm not getting anything out of this, or at least nothing has been offered. Those who want to comp me for my work, well, the Patreon and Ko-Fi links are in my profile.)

Just because there hasn't been chapter updates doesn't mean that it's not progressing.
I'm currently doing some catch-up in Shattered Rainbow to get that and the main series back in sync as far as time goes, and I currently have ~300 words written for the next yet-to-be-published chapter. Once that's done, I'll get back to Equestrian Human and tie things up across both fics.
I'll post a follow-up blog once it's completed if you wanna see it. For now I'm planning on using it as a way to be able to quickly reference events that happened without having to go back through the story or search the bare-bones storyline I have, since about half of the series is improv while the other half is actually planned.
1. The Thule That Came To Manehattan
Year 1000 C.R (Celestia's Reign)
It's the night before The Summer Sun Celebration and there is evil at work.... A madness plagued group of sorcerers seeks to resurrect an ancient demigod that nearly plunged Equestria into darkness one-thousand years ago. And it is Dr. Folklore who is the first stallion on the scene.... And he wonders.... If this is the start of a new age? Or the end of life as we know it?
2. Crimson Piers

Nothing like throwing out a day and a half of hard work because it's unusable.
Grr. Well, at least I have the stills and suchlike I can recycle.
Basically, I was putting together a mildly edited and trimmed video to YouTube- records of a recent livestream, you see... but realized that the editing software hadn't been set properly, so the video was a little keyhole surrounded by a ton of black.

I was feeling very bored and in the mood to experiment, so I fired up Inkscape and vectored Ahriman Station.
The source image is an SVG, so the exported images can be any size. I can zoom way in on these 80-meter Vigilance-class patrol boats and re-export it at any arbitrary DPI.
Hey guys! Max here with a weekly news post, and buckle up, because we’ve got some big updates to talk about.
Kept you waiting, huh?
Business first. XXXI: Of Resurrections is being released alongside this blog. Nine months is a long wait, and it shouldn't have taken me this long, but alas here we are. I think it's a pretty good chapter! It's been reviewed by no less than five of my editors, with a sixth unfortunately being too busy with work to get more than a quarter of the way through it. I'm very excited to see what everyone thinks.
