If you were looking at the shirts I sell...

... they're about to go away. My shirt printer is retiring, and I have no replacement.

After May 5 I'm going to take down the online order links on my little business's online store, and after this summer I'll clear out of whatever shirts I have left.

So if you'd noticed any of these before, now's effectively the last chance.

Not back to KSP yet, but I did do some space stuff.

I haven't touched KSP since my early experience with KSP2 was a combination of glitchy game and impossible-to-read UI. I've been thinking about it here and there, but I've had other things to do.

But that doesn't mean I'm not doing space stuff, and yesterday I finally edited and posted a video of such.

    My muse is nagging me.

I've done very little writing the past five months, partly due to being busy, but mostly due to recurring headaches when it's writing time.

I have a couple weeks off, and I'm going to try to make time to get back on my projects (the Octavia story and novelizing Peter is the Wolf). But my mind... well... it's trying to jump ahead, or possibly back.

    Life imitates art...

So, a privately built and operated space probe became the first US lander to soft-land on the Moon last week- Odysseus.

Progress on CSP... · 3:29pm Dec 22nd, 2018

First, a plug for the dead-tree Maretian project. (To the best of my knowledge, this is being done at cost- at least, the numbers add up to about what a printer would charge for POD deluxe editions plus postage. I'm not getting anything out of this, or at least nothing has been offered. Those who want to comp me for my work, well, the Patreon and Ko-Fi links are in my profile.)

Now... tonight resumes work on CSP live-writing, for those of you on Patreon. Yesterday I finished CSP Mission R4, an unmanned dress rehearsal of a Minmus landing. (Cherry is teaching the bugs caution.) It took forever, in no small part because the rocket had a tendency to flip when I ignited the second stage. In fact, I nearly gave up on the thing, after one tweak after another, before I finally got it to orbit a second time and pressed on with the mission.

Interesting note: KSP 1.6 just dropped, and it now has automatic delta-V calculations, something vanilla KSP has never had before. Of course, it's deceptive because on the ground it can only calculate in one state- low atmosphere, high atmosphere, and vacuum. My rocket design (which began before the update and was based on a couple of very Kerbalesque hodgepodges I'd done before) didn't show enough delta-V for the mission on the ground, but turned out to have power to spare for the entire mission.

So- out to run a couple of errands, and then back to writing- or going on to Mission 22, Cherry's landing. (We hope.)

I think I will buy it for birthday present... just a few weeks more...

Thanks for the update!

Huh, I didn't know this was being printed, I'll have to snag a copy. Thanks for letting me know!

Each tome will be leather-bound

I'd love to buy a dead trees copy, but I'm afraid that's a deal breaker for me.

It's fake leather. Where does one get real leather for $30, lol

You get real leather for less than $30 in most shoe shops. :facehoof:

If it's imitation leather, fine, but I'd like confirmation of that.
