The mods have approved me posting the updated original Feathered Heart chapters to my story! 
Chapters 10-13 R-rated/M-rated updates to Continuation and Chronicles are targeted for release on Sunday morning, with the remainder following at the rate of one additional M-rated entry plus any changed preceding chapters (which will typically be R-rated) every two days. As things stand, chapters 10-12 will be R-rated and 13 will be M-rated, though I’ve been tempted to go further with 12 as well.
So, I decided to read Project Horizons after beginning to get frustrated to discuss with people about the supposed value of a work that I didn't know anything about and needed to rely on hearsay to try to make a discussion happen. The first couple prereads are in and very favorable. After all the angst and issues this chapter gave me, it appears to have turned out well in the end. Given it's gotten very long—now nearly 20k words, split between three unique perspectives—I'm giving all prereaders until Sunday morning to hit it, when I'm planning to launch it.
A warm welcome to any and all new Feathered Hearts readers, folks, whether you read Eros or just Continuation and Chronicles. I hate calling those two latest Eros chapters an ordeal, but they were at times simply for much I was trying to do and how much I wanted to include, both in terms of sex and worldbuilding. It took over a month to write what ended up being all 25,000 words, though it seems to have turned out well in the end.
I promised that once the Griffon Kingdom arc of Midnight Rising was finished, I would try to do a single chapter of Continuation and Chronicles before working on Nightmare Night. So here we go. Thankfully, I already have about 7000 words to work with that I removed from the ending of the previous chapter. So hopefully, it won’t take too long. I guess it depends on how easily I’m able to ease back into it after five months since the last chapter.

Final preread is in—thanks, Silverblade5. So all that’s left is a final editing pass followed by creating the T-rated version. It shouldn’t actually be much shorter than the regular one, as sex does not take center stage here.

More seriously, you'll see that this little batch of chapters have some incredibly stupid aspects to them and some that I would go as far as praising genuinely. In fact, I find the calmer chapters to be the more focused, character-based and interesting, especially in a fiction that just swims in a constant state of fighting, gunning and running. I know that it might be some of the appeal but variety is the key to my heart.

And it has gone right back to Feathered Hearts. I finished a new nearly 10k word main story chapter this week, and it will be published tomorrow morning or evening unless my prereaders object.
It’s a big boi, currently coming in at just shy of 12k words as I bring the bonus material back in for a soft landing to merge it with the original material. This means long-awaited awakenings, revelations, continued intrigue, and coping against a backdrop of an ongoing crisis with the Russian Federation Ibexian Ascendancy.
