I do love it when a plan goes wrong.
Especially when it's something you've been working towards for a long time. To clarify, I mean in the gaming sense. In real life, it sucks when it all goes wrong, but in a RPG there's nothing more entertaining than digging youself out of hole you've made. Or watching your players dig out of hole they made.
Man, 2020 has been a weird year so far. I shan't bore you with some of the stuff on my end. Really it just comes down to me having a cold for the last week or so. A cold that I'm ... almost free of? I think? Here's to hoping all of this orange juice and spicy soup has finally done its job.
Hey folks! My Anthology "Scenes From A Hat" is coming out tomorrow, and one of the entries is actually a sequel/expansion to a gem of a comedy one-shot by Exodd called "Lost in Sidequests!" Check it out at the link below and give it some love!
But what if you flip them from up to down?
Applejack Mage and Twilight Fighter. Rainbow Dash Geomancer and Rarity Warrior? Fluttershy Assassin and Pinkie Pie Beast Master? That sounds fun, right?
Right ... Hopefully that gets your attention =3
I've been looking into RPG maker VX Ace for a while now and finally got it and surprisingly its simple to use, alot easier than RPG Maker XP too which i messed about religiously on while I was in secondary school so I'm not new to using it at all (though I'm more a in-engine editor, not the code or graphical side tho i do dabble )
I have been playing some games recently, those games being one of the main reasons for me not to write anything. However, the most recent game is almost over and I am hoping to be able to concentrate on writing after that. I still have a couple of games waiting in line, but I seriously need to take a break before playing them. I tend to use a lot of time on every single game I play. I'm not just rushing through them and I want to get most of the trophies too. I have to say, those games
There is a table top roleplaying game called Monster of the Week. It is based on shows or books with that sort of idea: each episode (or book) deals with the main character facing off and fighting a different monster. Examples listed in the game book include: Buffy/Angel, X-files, Fringe, and The Dresden Files. Like with Dungeons and Dragons, there are choices on what you play, but with several differences.
Hello everyone and welcome back to the question of the week.
I'm really excited, because I will be starting my Cyberpunk Equestria story contest later this Thursday (assuming I don't somehow forget). I hope that some of you will participate.
So hopefully that explains why I'm having a hard time thinking of any questions right now...
So, here we have a page from Dan and Mab’s Furry Adventures with one of the characters stating that Candy Land is basically a beginner’s RPG.
And my question here is why they haven’t actually made this into an actual adventure in official tabletop RPGs like D&D and Pathfinder
