Question of the Week #101 · 2:52am Apr 12th, 2023
Hello everyone and welcome back to the question of the week.
I'm really excited, because I will be starting my Cyberpunk Equestria story contest later this Thursday (assuming I don't somehow forget). I hope that some of you will participate.
So hopefully that explains why I'm having a hard time thinking of any questions right now...
Been trying to think of one all day, but it's kind of stumped me.
I guess...
If given the option to play a tabletop game in a fantasy setting, a cyberpunk (or cyberpunkish) setting, a post-apocalyptic/wasteland setting or a scifi setting, which would you chose?
I guess that's the question for this week.
Thank you all so much for coming, check out the contest when it comes out and I hope you all have a wonderful week.

the scifi one would be cool and the fantasy one too but you know what would be cooler?
scifi/fantasy in a post apocalyptic world. Could play as a character exploring ancient ruins and finding tech/magic they don't fully understand and using it to defeat some old system/god.
D&D is very synonymous with fantasy. Even though I have never played those medieval fantasy-esque adventures, I do find them on the boring side.
Now Scifi/Cyberpunk... they pique my interest more. Especially more if we got a mix of fantasy and cyberpunk! Two warring school of thoughts could potentially come together to make a society that is truly out of this world.
I find I am more in the passive role, or preferring to sow chaos without drawing suspicion. Say, lets use Cyberpunk 2077 hacking for example. You could be outside the building and take out everyone without taking a step. Now with magic in the equation, it could act as a security feature that is capable of preventing access wirelessly, forcing a hacker to get in close. It could even bolster network defenses by making such systems gain sapience.
