It's been a crazy week of travelling for me. Last weekend I was camping in a field in Wales at a wedding party, which was great fun, even though it rained all night and my tent leaked. I then went out to Seattle for a week of particle physics stuff, also fun, getting home late last night after an exhausting overnight flight via Chicago. Problem with flying long-haul at this time of year—the only affordable options involve long and awkward stopovers.
Wow has it really been three weeks since I last did a blog post?
First news this week: Quillo Manar did a rather nice reading of The Art of Eclipse Engineering on YouTube, so you can now enjoy listening to this short story accompanied by appropriate music and pictures of eclipses. You don’t need to wear goggles.
I'm surprised no one's made any stories about Marvel's young Quicksilver.

He's awesome.
He'd certainly be a challenge for Rainbow Dash.
A bit short notice, I know, but be advised that we have new pony coming this morning; Rainbow Roadtrip, a ninety-minute, movie-style special starting at the usual timeslot for those who have Discovery Family. Should be fun!
(And on the subject of rainbows, I've updated Oversaturation with the awesome cover iisaw provided for the print version. Thanks again to him.)
Okay, thanks to the latest episode of MLP:FIM; The Last Crusade, we finally see Scootaloo's parents and aunts.
So I've written this new story, The Paradox of the Ravens. The whole thing took me about an hour from start to finish, which is incredible for anybody who knows my usual writing rate of a couple of hundred words a month.
Sorry, I haven't been blogging much. Any one else like this video?

I've been thinking, cause I have nothing better to do, which member of the Mane 6 am I most like? I've decided either an intellectual Rainbow Dash or an athletic Twilight.
Because I plan on writing a comedy about how Rainbow Dash secretly loves getting tied up. She has gotten tied up in fall weather friends, magical mystery cure, and now Daring Done. Have any other ponies gotten tied up?
I had already worked out the details on how the next chapter in this series will go.
I will give you all a sneak preview here.
Come and check it out! I have a feeling you'll like it.

Did you know it's been a little over 5 years since I wrote Loyalty? That was my first and last time I had written Flutterdash. It's been a long time since I've written about this ship, but something is coming soon. I hope you all will like it.
Just some... random things.
1) Twilight hot air balloon actually have a rather modern-looking burner inside. And judging by the flame color - it works on propane. Although it lacks propane tanks so maybe it works on magic.
2) It looks like Hope Hollow rainbow billboard made from gas-discharge tubes.
The next chapter of We're Sisters!!!! is up!!
It's called Chapter four - Coming Home

So in my quest to read more, I'm tackling head-on a lot of the 'fandom classics'. Those fanfics like MLD and Past Sins that you need only mention the name of to find a roomful of people who've read them. So far, I don't think I've read that many. MLD I didn't like (because I have taste). Cupcakes made me lose my mind, but then I'd never read anything quite like it before; I have read plenty since, that I thank the early influence of Cupcakes for inuring me to. I'd include Spiderses in that
