I got into Friendship is Magic when Chad Rocco of The Guy With The Glasses posted a retrospective on the previous MLP generations/series as well as an indepth review on FiM, so I decided to finally give the show a shot. Binged on at least two seasons worth of episodes and got hooked instantly. Favorite pony in the Mane Six is Pinkie Pie, because she and I both love to party and favorite background ponies are Doctor Whooves, Vinyl Scratch and Lyra.

I joined this group because like others, many TCB stories just left an awful taste in my mouth. I agree human history is far from being a bundle of sunshine and roses, but the misanthropy and the vehement way some of the fans and authors defend their viewpoints frightened me. Not to mention how certain people will crucify you if you even admit to not liking their stories...

Anyhoo, I'm glad to have found this group (as well as the Humans Aren't Bastards group). I've revealed quite a lot about myself, but nothing compromising hopefully. Hope to more fun times together!

I am the guy who thought up the Human Liberation Front back when they were brainstorming TCB stories on ponychan.net because I was of the opinion that not everyone would accept ponification. It really wasn't that much of a stretch, really. But then the pro-TCB turned a logical consequence to ponification into the TCB-verse version of Nazis. Now, the HLF used in the TCB stories could have been independently thought of and has no connection to the posts that I made on ponychan, so I'm not sure if I can completely claim that they're using my ideas. Oh well. What bothered me about Chatoyance's stories was that her ponies acted more like G1 than G4 ponies. Ponies in season 1 could be greedy, selfish, even bigoted (Bridle Gossip). I singled out season 1 because, according to Chatoyance, season 2 had the ponies 'corrupted' with human faults when Lauren Faust left the show even though ponies had faults back in season 1.

I am a 25 year old medical student. I heard about the show on Spacebattles, but thought it was just overrated hype. Then I actually decided to see an episode, which happened to the Season 2 finale. I ended up thinking, "So we have a pony being surrounded by hellfire and cast down into oblivion and G-rated Succubi. Why do people say this is a kids show?"

I like deconstruction/reconstruction fiction. I like the "Humans are flawed" trope as opposed to the "Humans are the real monsters" trope. We're the result of billions of years of evolutionary success, so I believe we must be doing something right. I read the original TCB, and while I thought there were gaps missing, I thought it was tolerable, as opposed to JDR's version, which has the ponies be super-Houyhnhnms.

I also call the TCB ponies "Ponzis" (Pony+Nazis) and refer to TCB Celestia as Princess Final Solution. I'm living about an hour's drive from Auschwitz, so I know exactly what I'm saying.

I'm known even by my best friends IRL by Hywther Soresk (Hywther or Hyw for short), I'm a 22 years old guy from the northern Spain that loves almost any kind of videogame and I have a very bad habit of devouring books (I can't live without reading a bit every day). I'm a fan of science-fiction and fantasy genres on literature and I kinda have a personal interest put on philosohpy and geography (I aim to complete my career on History and Geography in some years after all) and... I love to learn about almost everything except maths. I hate maths.

I joined this group after I read some stories about TCB. I found fascinating the clash of ideas and philosophies behind each story and I had probably a bad habit to enjoy the debates on the comments box of those stories, so I decided to view both points of view and joined both groups and make my own assumptions based on all the info I could gather from stories and comments,

About FiM... I enjoyed the show "hidden" from the comunity since 2011 but it was during 2012 when I made the jump into the community and "embraced" being a brony (Turned some of my friends into bronies too). Also I don't have a "Best Pony"... but Twilight and Pinkie are two of my favourites from the main cast.

I study Information system technology and management (IT that's tasked with management focus).
I do not prescribe to the "humans are bastards" mentality, but I don't think that "ponies are monsters" either. I am not really interested in heaping insults either way, but I don't like either school ultimately.

My fics are not the ones that make people read and like and feature box'd... my longest fic is now 50k words, and it's a slice of life. The other fic is the reason why I've finally joined TCB and alternate TCB.

(shameless Plug: My fic... Puella Magi Pony Magica pretty much sums up what I am looking at when it comes to TCB. I actually feel butterflies in my stomach over it as it's loathed and it doesn't induce sexual arousal... )

I am actually more or less pro-CB, but I promise I will leave if my sort are unwelcome here. I don't mean to be offensive and I know we already have two groups of our own.

I am currently and apparently slowly writing a fic in the CB vein. Although I have tried to give the anti-CB side a fair hearing and not stack the deck completely against it, I still find the human side of the argument fundamentally irrational and unreasonable.

(Incidentally, though, the ultimate conclusion to my story basically permanently ends forced ponification and actually ends up with an option to convert back.)

The character who is my namesake on this board is kind of the trope of a Knight Templar or well-intentioned extremist, with a human counterpart who have, over years of interacting with each other, sort of turned into punch-clock villains to each other.

My tastes in literature kind of change a lot. Currently, in "real" literature, I am obsessed with the poetry of Gerard Manley Hopkins, the comics of Jim Woodring, and the jurisprudence of Richard Posner.

Also, what I am writing now is very influenced by Chatoyance, so if that makes me a jerk to anyone here, I have no problem going away. I just wanted to say hi.

Hey all. Name's Warwolf. Self-published author as of 2006. Also have five stories here on the site, all of them ongoing. My interests are far too many and numerous to list. I became a Brony largely in part due to the fact that the first episode I saw was actually Luna's first major appearance in the second season— and one could argue it was her first major appearance in the series proper, seeing as Luna herself doesn't appear till the tail end of the first two episodes and we were dealing with Nightmare Moon for the most of that time, Luna Eclipsed. It remains my favorite episode, and Luna remains my favorite pony, though she's quickly had to share space at the top with Twilight and Sunset Shimmer, if you can believe it.

If you believe those who see the ACB as some kind of shadowy illuminati-esque group, I'm supposedly the Dark Lord of this group, akin to Vader or Voldemort.

I write fanfics about ponies, so if that makes me a Dark Lord...well fuck it then, guilty as charged.

For those who haven't heard a word of me, I'm mostly curious about how could work the TCB setting without the classical conventions like Tyrant!Celestia for example. Also, since i'm a long time comics book fan, I really like to explore how it would be if the TCB story clashed with other fictional universes, specifically with other forms of divinity (in counterpoint to Xenolestia's "a god am I" mindset).

I don't really like the idea of humanity losing to the TCB, so I've never finished one of those anti-human stories out of disgust, but I've read a good number of fics where the humans win or at least it ends in a stalemate, so I'm more of a fan of those kinds of fics. As for my favorite pony, it's Lyra, but Trixie's a close second. My favorite race is a tie between the dragons and the ponies, but I really would love to make friends with them, not become one of them. I like my humanity.
