And Pippi Longstockings is so strong that she can lift a whole horse. And Lily Longsocks is a horse.
That's how the name came about! Now everything makes sense.
Also, I want that plushie! But before that, I hope I can snatch up the remaining plushie of the first Cutie Mark Crusaders with cutie marks set. Only Applebloom is left. Although, I would feel guilty to buy only one of them and not all three together.....
I think my favorite screen shot of Lily is up there in the Group's banner. She looks so darn cute wearing the merry-go-round like a sombrero!

If you have very sharp eyes (I only noticed it on the still frame while making the gif), you can see that she scrunches her face for a very short moment.
And Twist is grinning like she finds something incredibly funny.
Apparently, Lily talks about having done something she's embarrassed of and Twist is very amused by it.
