(Around) One Year Later... · 4:03am Dec 13th, 2012
Okay, so technically, I didn't actually become a "writer" in this fandom until I published my first story—which I have since deleted—on this site on the 2nd of January, 2012. However, I was working out ideas in my head (terrible, awful, makes-My-Immortal-look-like-a-Cormac-McCarthy-novel ideas) at this time, so I guess that counts. I'd originally signed up to this site to track a few fics that I was enjoying at the time—I think I joined so I could track Decay, but I'm not sure which one it was anymore. Still, now seemed as good a time as ever to "celebrate" a year in the pony writing community, since I'll probably spend most of the 2nd of January still nursing a terrible hangover writing more for the pony world to consume
Anyway... it's been quite a year. Four featured box fics, three fics on EQD, a Pony Fiction Vault feature, 500 followers, and—most of all—many friendships formed. It's been a hell of a ride that I can only hope hasn't even reached top-speed yet. Ponyfic ideas are coursing through my veins daily, and I'm even experimenting with ideas for original novels, and all of it is thanks to this community. I've been writing stories since I could first write, but it wasn't until I joined this fandom that I actually grew a pair and decided to release my wretched literary spawn writing to the masses.
So, yeah. Here's to many more years in this fandom—so long as this community has a pulse, I know I'll be writing for it.
Thank you to all of my followers and fans: here's to hoping I can not only meet your expectations, but exceed them. And another big thanks to all the people who have ever taken the time to look over my work and make it better. I might as well list them here.

Like Cynewolf said, it's been great knowing you all this time. Scootaloo brought us together, like fates intertwined. I can only believe things will grow even better as the new year comes about. Nothing will ever take away what has happened. The memories. The stories. The snarky, almost crude (what am I saying, they were crude) comments in Gdocs. Everything is forever. And I have enjoyed every bit of our everything.
To more everything in the forever to come.
P.S. After Transcendence is finished, I'd love to review for you again. It was both fun and insightful.
