You know what they say about the best laid plans? I'll be real brief with this update, for reasons that will be self-evident.

State of the Scribe: February 2024

Another month, albeit the shortest of the year. I still haven't had a chance to get into the process side of my writing and write that detailed plan for the year, been too busy writing a novel. Guess that's a good problem to have.

State of the Scribe: January 2024

This is exactly the 71st month I've posted a patreon calendar. Almost but not quite six years of writing fanfic, sharing all these ideas with you that would otherwise stay trapped in my head. I couldn't begin this post, and the beginning of a new year without expressing my profound thanks to everyone who keeps supporting me. Your help, big or small, is the only reason I'm still able to write

Optimalverse Anthology Hardcover Print! · 7:34pm Jun 25th, 2022

Many of you know I've been writing in the Friendship is Optimal universe for years now. I've explored some fun ideas in all that time, eventually writing 250,000 words of short stories, and one novel. I felt like all those stories would make for good candidates for a hardcover, and finally had the time to put them all together!

If you'd like a copy, you can grab one from my indiegogo campaign: https://igg.me/at/recursive-iterations

Doesn't that look awesome?

As with all print projects, the economics of a print-run only allow the prints to go forward if we sell enough copies. This makes Indiegogo perfect for this, since they can easily refund everyone's money if the print doesn't get off the ground. I'm aware some people can't use indiegogo for whatever reason--if that's you, and you still want a copy, PM me, and I can set something up through paypal instead.

Reprinting this book will also allow me to print additional copies of all my old-run books as well. If you missed out on any of those, you can get them with the "backorder book" option on the campaign. They will be printed and delivered at the same time as all of these.

Feel free to PM me with any questions, or ask them here.

I hope it goes well for you.

D: I am going to need a new bookshelf soon from all your books.

Can we get a table of contents? :)

Sure! Taking lots of photos of the interior would be kinda silly, but I can export the PDF directly. (the way the page margins alternate from left to right is a result of the gutters for the printing process, and isn't something visible in the finished book)

I have a growing collection of Optimal books. This will go nicely with them.

What's Ouroboros? Haven't read that one.

It's a new story I wrote for this printing. I'll be posting it to fimfiction tomorrow. Or... today, technically?

I'm very tempted. I enjoyed Futile Resistance.

I'm gonna need a new shelf on my bookcase, haha

She'd just need a medieval herald trumpet (Google Image it) and this would be Judgment.
