We've been talking about this story for some time now, and it has a simple but powerful premise: a robot that's entire existence has revolved around serving its master has to decide what it wants for itself after its owner dies. The first chapter is up now, and The Hat Man intends to keep publishing it in a serialized format.

If you're a fan of Familiar, I highly recommend it! If not, uh... you should be! Probably the best short story I've ever written.
