Halloween Gen 5 Horror Stories!

On Fim Fic's discord a few brave authors decided to usher in a new gen 5 era of grim dark for the new mane 5. To write the stories we never could... Cue Avenger's theme.

Up first is my new friend n3k1dsk1llz with their horror story about Zipp. They also saved my story with their clutch editing, in addition to brainstorming on discord.

Chromatophage

Zipp Storm is smart. She likes to learn new things. And she really wants to figure out why pegasi can no longer fly. To this end, she spends as much of her time as possible beneath the palace in the terminal, where she is free to explore, think, and study.

When she finds a strange glowing liquid in an ancient jar, she begins to learn about the lost magic in a way she would have never imagined.

Up next is AuroraDawn, the man, the myth, the legend. I'm sure I'd have sat around writing silly one shots if they'd not motivated and encouraged me to partake in Gen 5 Horror stories.

Two months ago, Sunny Starscout reunited the tribes and restored Equestria’s magic. Ever since then, she’s been keeping busy helping all the pony races learn to get along with each other.

It is only when her nightmares and sleepless nights begin that she learns that some things are sealed away for a reason, and should be left well enough alone.

Up next is me! Somehow I winded up making this less brutal than the other authors to maintain the Teen rating, but I would hardly say that means I let Hitch off easy. In fact, I'm pretty sure I've given Hitch plenty to crow about.

And what's wrong with that? I'd like to know. (That's the real killer of the "Paul is dead" stuff, the fact that he had a career after the Beatles broke up)

Oh nothing wrong, I plan to go back to silly one-shots soon. But it was nice to focus on something a bit longer, with an outline, and an editor. It's good practice for all my old incomplete stories.
