Hey everyone! I am pleased to announce that after some discussion and brainstorming, I will be collaborating with Meowofy on a new story! This is in reference to my last blog, where I said I'd write a new AU.
What is this new story, you may ask?
Well, it's quite simple. It's a roleswap AU.
Now, you may be thinking. This idea has already been done to death. What new sorcery are you planning to unleash on us, iAmSiNnEr?
Easy. We'll be writing a roleswap AU where Luna, Celestia, Tirek, Chrysalis, Sombra and Discord is in the place of the Mane Six, and Sunset and Twilight in place of Princess Celestia and Luna. Also, ignore the fact that Luna and Celestia aren't villains in main canon. We toyed with Nightmare Moon and Daybreaker, but it didn't seem right.
And yes, we're having a centaur, changeling and draconequus as our main characters. Fite me.

They're not villains at the start, but as for in the future? Who knows?
But of course, we're gonna be facing up against an extremely cunning and smart villain/misguided pony, so I wouldn't say they're gonna have an easy life too, hehe.

Pretty sure the webcomics crossover war of ... 2007? I think? was the biggest.
Now, I'm finding myself thinking of that DC what-if world where the villains had no heroes to stop them from doing whatever they wanted, and I think they wound up becoming heroes for the simple reason that they needed the world to survive if they were going to play their great plans in it.
So will Twilight and Sunset be operating from across the mirror, acting to ensure that these 6 ... "harmony" agents actually work together to protect the world and keep it alive?
I mean ... as I'm saying this ... team rocket anyone?
They'll protect the world from devastation (So they can play)
They'll unite all people within their nation (No enemy nations to challenge them -- 100% world conquest)
They'll denounce the evils of ... the other people
And extend their reach to the stars above (Luna).

We'll be going with a simple roleswap, basically the villains of canon will be the good guys this round. Except...how good can they be? Even with a good past?
How good can they be?
Lets look at what some elements might be.
Grogar: Unity.
Tirek: Power.
Chrysalis: Providence (protection / providing) -- she protects her hive and provides for their food needs. She may be a Yandere/possessive, but she is, in a way, a caring provider.
Sombra: Order
Discord: Laughter.
Add Cozy Glow for Planning or Ambition, and you've got a reasonable set of elements.
Order, Unity, Power -- that gives you an authoritative state, sure, but it's a stable one that a society can grow in.
Laughter, Protection/providing -- you've got the personality covered.
Planning/Ambition -- you've got growth to prevent stagnation.
You can absolutely make a wonderful set of elements to have a thriving, if restrictive, society. Instead of Harmony as "many differences brought together to work as a whole", you have "A single theme carried by many different instruments".
