Pic #21: “MADAM, YOUR CHILDREN ARE NO MORE... THAN A PAIR OF ILL-BRED TROUBLEMAKERS!”

Luna: " Carrot Cake, I believe these belong to you?"

Mr. Cake: "That depends. What did they do?"

Luna: "Well, I'm not sure exactly how they managed to get three hundred pounds of custard into the Royal Guard barracks, but—"

Mr. Cake: "Sugar Bun! Your children are in trouble!"

Half of those aren't ponies! Thin ice mister.

I didn't need the inflatable tank to get that reference.

I really need to remember to queue up some sabaton on my portable speaker. That will be amazing.

:Edit:
Or as the kids say, that'll really slap.

Oh man, that was great! The exactly one "photoshop" in our town had me rolling.

I remember when people tried to make "harcore" pmvs back in the day and it was a real stretch. But now with 9 seasons of material you can really do anything well.

That first one kinda reminds me of a story I read once... :raritywink:

Thank you for the lovely pictures. Although I must say, you’re slipping: you didn’t start with adorable applejack!

I too recently discovered Valeria’s wonderful humanizations. They really are so many fucking incredible artists in our fandom (I also recognized Jowybean’s style in one of them) and we are spoiled by their fecundity of art.

I count a bunch of dragons, a couple Yonas and Galli, full-sized horses, a reindeer and Discord. I don't know that that's quite half, but it's enough that a comment like 5431237's was inevitable.

Also, I need Twilight to cast that wing spell on some pigs because 5431315 was right about something. The appuls go up top, mister.

So I heard you were talking some mad heresy about my princess.

Cute pics, agreed, but... that's not a pony, indeed, but it's not a reindeer, either. Reindeer have a very different nose (fluffy ones, not shiny: the Rudolph model is based on a whitetail, if I recall correctly), and that particular one's got a set of wings on the side to boot. It's meant to be a peryton, I think. Haven't seen many of those, but they're lovely when done right.

Edit: checked the tags. Yup, peryton cuteness. It's like venison and turkey all in one, perfect for the holidays :pinkiecrazy:

I like the mask on the snowman, too. That's cute :duck:

Hey, I ain't complainin' about non-pone art, man. And more mythological critters in cute style is fine by me. I'm still waiting for more of the old stuff to break through; I'd love to see Maugris become a household name like Merlin is, and the Bayard myth needs some loving adaptation... who am I to deny perytons their time in the limelight?

Anyway, no need for the language.

Heh, sorry. I was exaggerating frustration for comedic effect. Not actually angry, just being silly. Sorry. :twilightsheepish:

No worries. Have a Twily doing a cute spooked.

A quick Google, and the best I can do is have Maugris drinking in a pub and complaining about how his predecessor gets all the press.

With #2 Yonabar, it really reminds me of the style in the new Wolfwalkers movie.

Check Wikipedia. He's an enchanter linked to the Bayard myth. And Bayard is effectively an Earth pony stallion from the Feywild with Akimichi clan powers. I've said this before: Earth ponies with the innate ability to grow and shrink at will (with limits depending on power, of course) would be awesome. Might have to do a ramble blog on that sometime...

Yeah, Maugris is also linked to the Matter of France, which is what I meant by predecessor: basically he's complaining about Merlin being more famous than he is. And seeing as the relevant parts of my setting are either circa the fall of Rome or WW2 onwards, even the fact that it turns out to be immortal won't help much in allowing a size-changing horse to be relevant.

Ah, okay, you were referring to your own work there. Didn't catch that. Carry on.
