I haven't tried the cherry one yet (that's the one with the red stuff on top), but the raspberry one just tastes like raspberry. :B It's overpowering the marzipan, and almost completely overpowering the custard. Which, I should add, is rather chunky, but then I'd never hand-made custard before now. <.< It's hard to slice and even harder to eat, but my dad likes the cherry one at least, so that's a win.

I think if I made this again, I'd just use Bird's and mix it with whipped cream. :B
