I just had a dream so intense that I need to write it down.....

Did you ever have a dream that was so intense that you thought it was real and everything you saw actually happened?

I just don't understand some people.....

I was only out to buy some simple things today. I had some change left and I went to a nearby park to give it to a homeless person. I couldn't find one and went back to the train station and mall where I started. A man was standing there in front of the entrance, with heavy luggage, a huge backpack and a big suitcase. He asked me for change and said he has no place to sleep. I was unsure about

    I miss these glorious Saturdays.....

I have seen this thread in the Crossover group about saturday morning cartoon openings (that's now deleted) in my feed and it triggered it..... The memory of the Saturdays when a new episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic aired. I miss these Saturdays..... Watching a new episode, waiting for an upload, downloading it, rewatching it 3 - 5 times, writing an analytical review of the episode

Selfishness has been my wrong motivator for the longest time..... and people don't see who I really am because of that.

A lot of people in the fandom don't understand who I am and think of me as a bad person. My friend sometimes does, too, and doesn't trust me anymore because of that. There have been moments when she literally asked me "Who are you?". I was always thinking this was stemming from trust issues that she developed because of events in her past and I was only marginally attributing the cause for this

Return after a busy month and after another month of writing break + New Story Announcements befitting for the cold season! · 9:39pm Nov 30th, 2020

Wow, these were two crazy months I am coming out from..... October was filled with so many releases like I never had before in a single month. All together, I published three one-shots + my flashfic anthology in October. "Unsung Hero" and "Don't Look" (for the most part, minus a few hundred words that I wrote at the end of September) were written throughout the month, as well as 150 words for my October flashfic.
"The New Freedom" and my flashfics from the rest of the year were written months prior, the former having waited for the ideal moment of release.
I wrote about 16,910 words in October. A few hundred words have to be subtracted because I started "Don't Look" in September and I don't remember how many words I wrote for it there, but the amount is near correct. Not a lot of words for one month, when I look back at it, but I did nearly nothing but writing for the entire month and felt stressed out and was much slower than usual thanks to a few obstacles the previous month had thrown at me (including a ban from a popular pony Discord server at the end of August of which I don't fully know the plot behind yet, but can tell is already of significant immoral and fraudulent dimensions) and it left me in a burnt-out condition. This required a break for a few weeks, that I used to just relax and clear out a few things that had been sitting around undone for way too long already.
Now I am back from that break and, while not perfect, my day is much more organized again now. Even a little more organized than it was before. But I am still working out kinks there.

And now let's get to the important part, future writing. "Letters to Cozy Glow" and "Dreamwalker Dash" will return soon. I can't tell when exactly yet, but the former will be back in December and I want to bring "Dreamwalker Dash" back in the same month.
Right now, the writing slot for "Dreamwalker Dash" is filled with another one-shot that I still want to write this year and I don't know how long it will be yet, but I reckon with a rather short length as it is a simple, although effective, story. Which brings me to the announcement of the new story the title of this blog entry speaks about.

As I semi-announced in July already, I am writing a story for Yudhaikeledai's "Frostpony" universe.
It would be an understatement to say that this animation inspired me. I have currently two ideas for stories set in this universe inside my head and every time I rewatch the animation, I discover new things and come up with more questions for how things work or happen in the universe of "Frostpony". I am not giving hard confirmations yet, but I can see myself writing multiple stories set in this universe while I go on and explore it.
This is the first time I am exploring a pony universe that isn't seen in official G4 media (except for one other universe I am generously being given the chance to explore, but that universe is a secret) and it's a universe that fits so perfectly to me.
I love post-apocalypse scenarios, I enjoy Winter more than Summer and I hate the summer heat, so I feel quite at home in this universe and it feels like my kind of universe. Not the universe I would love to live in the most if I had the chance to, mind you, the universe from the official show/comics/books is still what I love most, but if I had a list of my most beloved equestrian universes, the "Frostpony" universe would be very high up and definitely be in the Top 5 of that list.

Today, I finally started writing my first story for "Frostpony". The start was a little bumpy because of a slight sleep deficit (I know, great thing to do on the first day after coming out of a writing break) and because I did some preparations before I started writing, including watching the animation again and finally plugging in a factory-fresh keyboard and computer mouse, that I bought in the first half of last year and had sitting around unused until now for rather hard to explain circumstances. But writing the beginning of the story worked splendidly and I got in a nice 422 words in just 20 minutes of writing (I usually need 42 minutes for this amount of words) before I had to stop. A great start and if things continue as well as they did today, this might be the most sad story I've ever written.
But you want more info about this story and I feel I owe you that, after talking about it in July already and promising a soon release. I do not want to give too much away yet, especially because the story will probably be on the shorter side of the word amount spectrum. But what I can tell you already is, expect two fillies alone in a snowy, wintry and, most importantly, frosty, post-apocalyptic Canterlot.*
*This sentence comma-splices hard, but I am in a hurry and just drop by before I have to go writing for the second story that is planned for today and I am already late for that.
Who these two fillies are? If you are a reader of "Dreamwalker Dash", you know them already. :raritywink:
It will be a wonderful story, I can already tell that and could already tell that when I got inspired to it at the end of May. My only concern I have with it is that the event I am writing about might be a little too early to explore, after I could barely write for the two of them since I discovered them. Especially because of the relationship that both of them have to a certain, third pony who I know about, but haven't written about or introduced in my stories yet and the way I'll be introducing her in this story is an..... unusual one, to apply a mild term. I fear this could lead to it that most of you can't relate to the situation and that you won't feel as much about it as you are supposed to.
That is a little troubling and complicated, but such is the nature of inspiration, it doesn't ask for permission when it gives you an idea that you desperately want to write in a moment when writing it isn't ideal for the stories you're crafting away at. Of course I could just wait with releasing it. But, from what it looks like at the moment, I can still be the first one in the fandom to write and release a story that's set in Yudhaikeledai's "Frostpony" universe and I want to use this chance as long as it is still there.
This means I will have to sell the whole event and the emotions that are connected with it through especially strong, impactful dialogues. But from what I have seen so far, I can already tell that writing true tearjerker dialogues will not be a problem. They should come in naturally.
A release date is pending, but more for the story will be written tomorrow. You will soon hear more about it.

And what else am I writing? I am also working on a Hearth's Warming Eve story. Not a classical holiday story like in the two previous years, but a story whose plot is set during the Hearth's Warming season and slightly connected to it. And, like last year, it is a ponification of a movie classic. A less direct adaptation than with the story last year (or with "Critter Snow Day" in early 2019), this one will be much more inspired by the movie and quickly go into a very different direction than this movie, but the setting, part of the premise and certain ideas contained in the story will be very familiar to you if you know the movie I am talking about.
I hope you like candy and chocolate and songs. Although, songs aren't promised, because I've never written any songs before, yet alone put any songs into a story and I currently struggle with finding a good way to do that. But I will try and do my best. More about that soon.

And that's all for today. Except that I am typing on a new, factory-fresh keyboard today and that I am using a new factory-fresh mouse. Did I mention the keyboard? It has very flat keys and it's extremely comfortable and soft to push down on them. My hooves rejoice!
But now that's really all for today. You'll hear from me soon!

Stay easy as a filly!

Looking forward to see them contuined. And no rush.

So more releases - nice to hear it! Some of this stories I even never read - I will correct this omission in time) I`ll be waiting "FrostPony" story!

A great start and if things continue as well as they did today, this might be the most sad story I've ever written.

Intriguing.

I recommend reading "Dreamwalker Dash":

https://www.fimfiction.net/story/436735/dreamwalker-dash

The relationship between Hyper Sonic and Gooseberry isn't the focus of the story, but you will understand them better if you read the story. Particularly, Chapter 5 of it. Reading this chapter will help to understand my "Frostpony" story to the fullest.
