A Wonderful Gift I Need to Share

RoMS, wonderful mad as they are, have written a story for me. Based on a simple prompt, they wrote a short novel going in unexpected places and exploring ideas with a sharp, kind eye.

It is melancholic, amused, bittersweet, kind, smart, and akin to a map of those hard times in which we live in the shadow of problems greater than us and where the only thing that counts, the only thing we can in some way influence, are our relationships with each other. It is us looking back and being better for it.
