So, the comments and ratings are disabled on multiple Aryanne stories? Why, why does it matter? Let people voice their thoughts. Silencing all voices saves nothing. This effectively has caused a bigger issue.

People just keep ignoring history. This was going to blow over in less than a week here, things would go back to status quo, but now Knighty has Taken A Stand so it's never going to stop. You'd think the whole derpibooru fiasco would have been a good indication of how to make a relatively limited issue into an enormous one, but nope. Gotta get that Twitter clout.

Seriously, everything was already kind of dying down. Never mind a week, another day and everything would probably have been back to normal.
This is better than Derpibooru's response, but it still seems unnecessary and wishy-washy. They'll let everyone post whatever they want, but they won't allow any discussion or debate on the story's page? I feel like this is just going to make everyone angrier in the long run.

Why is this an eternal lesson that is never learned?
Everyone here seems to ignore why all of a sudden new Aryanne stories were made. They were made as reactionary stories and to stir up shit and get under people's skin. If you were actually writing these with the intention of making a real story you chose a REALLY shitty time to do so. I pity you but at the same time shrug and think both sides had this coming. The ones that condemn Aryanne like a plague and those who prop her up like she's some symbol to stand behind for Freedom of Speech.
But what do I know.

Like with proper Aryanne stories. The better ones I have no problems with. The ones that were done NOT to get a reaction but to make a genuine funny story or a real serious one I'm cool with. The ones that are just done as a reaction and done to elicit a similar reaction or flame bait deserve the same thing this will.
Now please go bother someone else with your pedantic and self-righteousness.
