Live Wire and the Last Crusade · 5:30am Jun 28th, 2020

I've been putting thought into finishing the unfinished cliffhanger of Live Wire and the Temple of Doom, a story I put up on my collection of Pirene short stories. It's about a grown up Wire from Pirene - going by Live Wire and living in Los Pegasus - telling the story of how she saved the Cutie Mark Crusaders from the Cup Temple to her young daughter. I ended it on a cliffhanger when the events of that story come back to haunt her in the abduction of her daughter. I wanted to finish the story, but it's been difficult lately.

Aside from the fact that I've been putting most of my efforts lately into non-pony fiction, and it's hard to go back - I have three completed manuscripts and a fourth on the way - I also feel pretty discouraged by the community lately.

On the other hoof, though, the story for it has been knocking around in my head for years and shows no signs of letting up.

I'm considering writing out the full spoiler summary in a blog post. Would you, who want to read it, like me to do that, or would you prefer maybe waiting a long time until I can actually finish it?

Let me know in the comments.

I for one want to read another fully written story set in the universe of my favorite adventure horse fic, and I don’t mind more waiting.

I also feel pretty discouraged by the community lately.

We gotta be the candles that light up the dark corners of this fandom. And by candles I mean flame throwers and by dark corners I mean Nazis.

I'd love to see the story finished or at least summarized.

Also, whenever you put out your original fiction, I'd love to read that, too!

I'd be happy to read anything by you, pony or not. (As for the community, there are definitely some elements I'm not happy with either... and some I'm quite proud of in terms of calling out the former.)

Certainly wouldn't mind waiting for the long haul.

I do like exterminating Nazis.

I wouldn't blame the community for politics being a dumpster fire as of late. It's not the window's fault it's overlooking an alleyway.

Also, I can confirm she has been working nonstop on writing.

You know better than most!

And - the community is absolutely responsible for the Nazis in our midst.
