The Fifth Age - LotR Fanfic

I've taken a brief foray into Lord of the Rings fanfiction - one set many years after the end of the main series in a time when Middle Earth is very modern and developed, essentially a fantasy version of the modern world rather than early Anglo-Saxon Europe.

I don't know if I'll ever finish it, but ideas for chapters occasionally strike me and my sister is pulling for it, so perhaps I'll put one foot in front of the other and find myself at the end. I've always been a huge LotR nerd, and the main character - Vashti Arhun - is an affectionate parody of the kind of people like me who become obsessed with the minutia of history and mythology to the exclusion of everything else. Just in her case, she actually gets to confront some of it.

Still trying to get my original works published, but it's been hard going. A lot of rejection letters, but that's the way of the industry.

I also plan on continuing The Moon Has Two Faces soon, so don't worry - I'll at least finish that!
