On the subject of a sequel

Remember when I said this? Yeah, so, about that...

I've learned a valuable lesson about writing and that's to never promise deadlines to people. Or, at least, a release on an exact day over a month in advance. Anyone probably could've seen this coming, but yeah, y'know how it is.

The good news is that the sequel is turning out to be a bigger (and hopefully, better) project than I anticipated.

The bad news is that this also means I'm probably not going to get it out at a good time on Father's Day, which sucks because it was a personal goal of mine but we all gotta know when we're beaten at some point, stop dwelling on it, and just continue on. It's already surpassed the original in word count and I've still got a couple whole scenes to write, so...yeah. It'll hopefully be out by at least tomorrow night, if nothing else, but I'm not gonna kill myself trying to pump out the last scenes and have the quality suffer for it as a result. Y'all deserve better than that.

Hang in there, it'll be worth it.
