There's downvote brigading someone's work, and then there's being this much of a deliberately inflammatory nonce looking to start shit. Meritless belief-based "super-downvoting" and callouts are not what the bookshelf system is meant to be used for. I recognize that incest is a controversial fetish that goes against many religious beliefs - but that is not grounds for this sort of behavior.
I'd say more, but I've already mostly said my piece on this in that second image.
I wouldn't normally bring this much attention to a critic of my work, but this behavior is so far outside the realm of "criticism" it's long past the point of being unconstructive.

It takes a certain level of narcissism and egotism to blatantly put a bookshelf with a name like THAT on full display, and see nothing wrong with that. It's essentially flaunting that you hate these particular stories with complete disregard for anyone else's feelings, especially the authors of these stories.
It reminds me of the Twitter crowds looking to cancel anyone who steps an inch out of line in their imaginary world, screaming at the top of their lungs that the person is a nazi and should be crucified. Especially his remark on incest, which practically reeks of the same kind of psychosis.
Getting it outta the way, I'm not part of any religion and I'm still trying to wrap my head around why people try to treat incest as a normal thing that should be embraced.
However, making a folder with that type of name is pretty crappy of them, I've had one fool do that to me once. Sorry you had to deal with such nonsense.

Like, I get it. As someone with 3 siblings, who isn't religious, I'm also very much not into incest. But I'm not going to go out of my way to downvote and put every story into 'worst stories' just because I personally find it distasteful. (I'd probably use harsher words, but again, I'm not going to go out of my way when nobody's asked.) Hell, I'm not into porn much at all, but yet again, that won't have me going out of my way to downvote them.
I just ignore them, because I know I won't enjoy them. Getting mad and doing shit like that just isn't worth it.

Monotheistic religions, perhaps, if you don't scrutinize catholic royalty too closely. But, not all religions are against incest, nor all societies. There are certain tribes in Africa where a boy having sex with his mother is a part of a ceremonial right of passage to manhood. And have you looked at the Roman Empire? If it moved, it was fair game. In some instances, locomotion wasn't a requirement.
If you really want to dig, you can find far more disturbing things than incest throughout history. Things that were, more often than not, socially acceptable.
In short, do what - or who - you enjoy doing. I'm not going to judge... potentially shout encouragement, or attempt to participate, but never judge.

...and that it looks like they basically just went and speed dumped all of EVERY popular clop author's stories with the [non-con] and/or [fetish] tags (and/or stories with foalcon and/or incest in the description) into it, I wouldn't take any stock in it. (lot of 'and/or's here)
Pretty sure anybody that has any inkling of an interest in actually opening that folder will note that the number of fics in it and the major theme of the stories make it clear that there's no merit whatsoever in that person's opinion. They can take their opinion and shove it right up where certain cocks belong.

What I have against this entire post is the Tone Policing. And if you don't know what that is
For one, trying to say "oh that's toxic behavior", shut up and fuck off. This the behavior I hate about the younger generations and high profile E-celebs. A bunch of bleeding hearts that wants a safe space from everyone and everything, because everyone wants praise and respect without having to work for it. You've already got a bunch of followers from your works, and that should be enough. ok I can kinda see where this is coming from but ah ever heard of venting that's what most people here are doing hell I doubt most of the reaction is even because of what this one guy did it's more likely most people have been through some shit like this and this was just a good place to let a bit of that frustration out and we haven't even said anything unfair about the guy regardless of weather or not it's his opinion he's airing it publicly and notifying people of it that put's his opinion up for peer review criticism and backlash if he didn't want people getting mad being hurt or questioning weather or not this was ok to post on this site he should have kept his opinion to him self and private that bookshelf and not said anything in a blog post or other wise when he added a story but he didn't and here we are simple as and if he want's to criticize parts of a story or say that whole story is shit he can go right ahead and do that in the comments of that story and as for getting his account removed ... who said anything about that I mean yeah he's an ass but I doubt anyone wants that or really cares if he gets to keep that bookshelf or not we just hurt mad and ashamed he can do this publicly would it be nice if someone from the staff did something to make him stop publicly shaming stories like this yes and make no mistake that's what he's doing doesn't matter if it's his opinion it's public and it paints stories in a bad light with out giving a fair review of them just this has this so it's bad

I'm generally venting about the constant Tone Policing I see online. I'm also venting about getting booted from a Discord server earlier today for telling a mod he's a crybaby for not letting me say that pornographic Twitch whores Amouranth and Indiefoxx are assholes who unironically got banned for spreading their ass cheeks on stream.
So when Ardee said "toxic behavior", that set me off. Can't use any naughty words. Can't say any crude jokes. Can't call anyone a terrible person. Can't question politics or medical science. Can't say anything about some protected group. Can't call out legit racism or sexism because it's against the correct gender/race. Can't even read certain kinds of porn or buy some because of nut jobs whining.
This shit slowly piles up over time and you start to snap too. Just the sheer entitlement, smugness, and crybaby/victimhood attitude that comes from saying "you have toxic behavior". Makes me want slap Ardee, tell him to shut up, grow some thicker skin, ignore the guy, and go back to writing smut. Could have screencap the guy, have a laugh and let it die. But even his fans decided to dogpile him like one of them above said. This is no better than Twitter SJW mobs do.

I certainly could've - and should've - handled things more maturely. The use of the phrase "toxic behavior" certainly has a large amount of baggage and subtext and I was hesitant to even use it in the first place, and I see that my hesitations for its use were certainly well-founded based on this reaction.
But I'm not mad or especially emotionally torn up over it, really. Just...disappointed, not in myself but in other people, and felt the need to air out said disappointments, likely too publicly. I shoulda kept this one to "just friends" for sure.
You've definitely got a point about the excessive optimism of much of today's left-leaning twentysomethings, considering I'm guilty of a fair bit of it myself. I suppose at least for me, that it's partly due to a combination of a lack of general life experience and the overly comfortable, intractably Westernized middle-class life I was born into. And probably also a heaping helping of "living in California" and, especially, "attending a Californian university," where that sort of optimism tends to get shoved down your throat.
My motto when it comes to people is "believe the best, expect the worst," but I guess I forgot that second part when I made that impulsive, in-the-moment diatribe of a response (which was my first mistake, responding at all) as well as this subsequent blog post.
I'm already ignoring him and back to writing smut, if that counts...and it is pretty funny in hindsight, even if the way I handled it is totally lame.

I feel kinda bad for you. I'm not trying to be condescending, but it's the overly safe and comfortable living, toxic California culture, and like you said the insane amounts of optimism that turns people into things like SJWs. Your motto is a good one. Life pisses on you, people turn into animals, and you have to deal with it till things get better, you know? I wouldn't want to trade for a poorer life, but it helps to smash that idealism. Like I'm in the middle-class as well and live a relatively comfortable life, but I've lived in Tennessee my whole life, very mildly autistic
, dropped out of college, had a lot of decent to terrible jobs (will not miss the screaming matches with the boss or being unironically labeled a White Supremacist by a Feminist supervisor for voting wrong), taking care of my father who's dying of COPD, dealing with drug abusers and alcoholics, legal\financial problems, property damage, coming outside on some nights with a rifle to check for strange things, family drama with people not speaking to each other over petty shit, etc. The usual stuff at this point. 
It's not even a bad life, you're just not overly comfortable all the time and you learn to take the worst in stride, get more persective, and learn how the real world works. Might help I'm at least 10 years older than you, so... Yeah.

Yeah, seems like we've definitely come from very different backgrounds with rather disparate experiences...wish I had more to say in response but there isn't much I can think of that doesn't sound token, honestly. I haven't ever had to deal with situations like you've mentioned (aside from the "mild autism" part) so I don't really have a perspective there.

Something I want to point out after thinking more on it is that I wasn't really "tone policing" him here, just calling him out for being a shitty person doing shitty things to people - it wasn't even about his actions against me specifically, the reason I felt enthusiastic enough to make a post on his behavior was because of his actions towards other authors on the site as well. This sort of behavior deserves to be policed, if anything, because I'm pretty sure it's against site rules anyway.
If calling out someone's shitty behavior is "tone policing" then I'm guilty as charged, but I don't see it. There's not really a tone to be policed here - just someone being a shitty person and me posting about it publicly.
