CoffeeBean passed away yesterday. He was 22.
He was a really good friend. I met up with him in person a few times, got to meet his family, talked to him constantly--he was a really great guy. Very positive, energetic, and genuinely cared for his friends. Really always wanted the best for everyone, a very active and effective moderator in all the servers he was a part of.
He was also a fantastic writer. I encourage you to read his works, those two there are my personal favorites but all of them are quite good. Fond memories of getting to sit down with him and have a nice long talk about the best way to characterize Luna, and of listening to him describe plots for future fics. Very animated when speaking, made you feel like the only guy in the room. Great sense of humor too, always made me smile. I loved spending time with him.
According to his family, his death was an accident. As far as I could tell he wasn't suicidal, so I believe that. At least he didn't die in that kind of anguish. I guess I'm just trying to look for any consolation I can.
I love you buddy and I will always, always miss you.
Im sorry for your loss, sadly i never knew him, was he the type of person that would want us to mourn his death, or celebrate his life?
I'm so sorry, Regi. It sucks to lose friends like that.
If you need someone to chat with we're always here if you need it.
I'm sorry to hear that. Sadly I never got to know him, but I'm sure he's in a better place.
I'm so sorry to hear that.
Hang in there, you have a lot of friends here for you.
Oh, dear. My condolences, to you and others close to him.
Fuuuck, man. That's just too young...life really isn't fair and it sucks big time.
Sorry for your loss...he sounds like a great guy.
I'm very sorry that this has happened. I hope that you, his other friends, and his family are able to stay strong in this difficult time.
Truly sorry to hear that.
