    Two Years of This

On February 24, 2022, eight years after they launched a limited invasion and occupation of border regions, the regime of Russia attacked Ukraine from multiple sides with the intent of fully conquering the nation, thence to dismember choice territories and install a puppet regime over whatever remained. Their justifications - imperial revaunchism, nationalist lies, and contempt for what they view

Fan art for "Evil Must Be Healthy"

A pleasant surprise found me a few days ago on learning an enterprising pony commissioned fan-art for my little AU from the illustrious Pencils! Just thought I'd share. :derpytongue2:

With thanks to both the artist and commissioner.

Going to Everfree Northwest this year!

Exactly what it says on the tin! If anyone else is going (and if there's any kind of Fimfiction discord meetup group on it~), please let me know. With travel and etc. I likely won't be going to many of these, so I'd love to RL meet as many Fimfic peeps as I can.

Cover art for "Evil Must be Healthy."

There are few feelings for an author quite as wonderful as receiving fan art, all the more because I found it by sheer chance. While the artist MrRicharZ has taken it down from Derpibooru he was kind enough to let me use his work as cover art for the story.

Dramatic read for "The Splendid Panzers of Miss Harshwhinny"

I like that story enough (and have grown fond enough of listening to dramatic reads) that I have commissioned one from our own Skijarama!

(There is also commissioned cover art on the way, too.~)

Many good times, now gone. But they were real. · 1:58pm Apr 7th, 2020

CoffeeBean passed away yesterday. I am very lucky that his mother thought to contact our discord group and tell us, because fuck, how else would we know. He was a good guy who took the high road with shitty people. He was also 22.

It wasn't suicide, so... there's that.

I dunno. I figure people should know. Our generation is really gonna have to figure out the "hey, I wonder what ever happened to X, they just vanished one day" thing.

Hugs We're here for you, man.

Oh god. I'm so sorry.

Any indication as to how he passed?

The family said there was an accident. I didn't push.

I saw that on his page earlier. It reminded me of a teacher I had during high school who passed during the summer before my Senior year, one Mr. Sevigny. He was a great social studies teacher, even though I only had him for a while. I still don't know the full story of how he died, but his family said it was an accident. But when something like this happens, no matter who it happens to, I just think of this line whenever someone dies, originating from Red Versus Blue.

Grant these souls we send your way...final peace and rest at last.

I find it fitting.

What? No...
Fuck...

As I said on Oddshot’s blog,
Fuck.

Wow. I've not read anything from the author, but that is tragedy, particularly for one so young. Will have to read some of his work. Condolences for this who knew him.

That's unfortunate. It was nice of the family to contact you guys and let you know what happened, though.

I had one of their stories on my read it later list, and I think I might have vaguely interacted with them a couple times, but I didn't really know them at all.

I hope you guys are doing alright.

Our generation is really gonna have to figure out the "hey, I wonder what ever happened to X, they just vanished one day" thing.

Yeah, this is a tough problem to solve, in part because we often use aliases.

We have it so much easier than our forebears did, though. People would move away and disappear all the time, and it was really hard to track people down.

One of my own ancestors had their wife report them as being dead after they moved away, when they were in fact living in another state. Then again, they might well have been dead to her. :V

Our condolences, we hope you are doing alright. Thank you for letting us know.
