    What to name Puzzle’s organization?

So as many of you have no doubt noted in Freeport Venture: Tears in the Rain, there’s going to be some restructuring within Puzzle’s organization. Among those changes will be Puzzle giving his organization an actual name. Though as of this moment I haven’t found a name that I’m satisfied with yet, so I thought I would turn to my many wonderful readers and see if they could come up with

    Winningverse/Freeport Venture/ Lunar Rebellion Timeline

Below is a general timeline of significant events in the main continuity to give an idea of how everything is ordered, even if this is by no means a comprehensive list of events. Things are also subject to change as new stories are written, and we come up with new ideas with which to expand on.

Winningverse/Freeport/Rising Fire and Other AU's Explained

With the publishing of Rising Fire I couldn’t help but notice that there was a bit of confusion of what is and isn’t canon in the Winningverse, and how everything is interrelated with one another. So I decided to write up this blog post in the hopes of clearing some stuff up. In truth, I’ve been thinking about making a few posts for the Winningverse group forum for a FAQ and an updated

BronyCon 2019: The End of an Era

There is something inherently sad about something coming to an end. Something unique and wonderful is now over, and I found myself writing this at the airport and on the airplane, waiting, leaving Baltimore, perhaps for the last time. It’s as I do so that I contemplate the past, present, and future both for myself and the fandom.

1,000 Favorites for Study of a Winning Pony Thank You · 7:43pm Nov 17th, 2012

So something pretty awesome happened yesterday after I threw up Chapter 7. The Study of a Winning Pony has hit over a thousand favorites! As I’m writing this I have 1,021 favorites, 556 thumbs up, and 118 followers. That’s pretty crazy. I didn’t seriously imagine when I started my very first story on FIMFic that it would become this popular, and that this many people would care about what I write. I’ve put a lot of work into planning, writing, and editing this crazy story where I’ve been driving Twilight nuts with Ponyville’s local nymphomaniac. So it is highly encouraging to see so many people like it, and it drives me on to continue writing.

But first I would like to thank the people who have made Study the success that it has become. First I would like to thank the person who made this:

That picture it probably one of the first of two things along with the title that people see when they notice Study, and having a good piece of art is essential to having a story noticed. So I would like to give a big thanks out to InuHoshi-to-DarkPen for her great art piece for Study. I loved it the second I laid eyes on it, and I proudly display it. Inuhoshi is basically the unofficial artists of the Winningverse, and you should seriously check out her work.

Next I would like to give a big thanks to Chengar Qordath, the man who got the ball rolling with his crazy Charlie Sheen pony. I originally started following him for his great Dresden Files/FIM crossover FOREVER! and My Little Denarians. Those stories got me into reading the Dresden Files and about everyone's favorite grumpy and sarcastic Chicago wizard. Seriously, check out the Dresden Files books and Chengar's crossover, you won't regret it.

Naturally he is also our lord and master of the Winningverse considering he wrote The Incredibly Dense Mind of Rainbow Dash and The Life and Times of a Winning Pony. If for reasons I can't understand that you are reading Study and not those stories, get on them! Each of them are great stories that inspired Study to start with. Chengar has let me play in his Winningverse sandbox, so kudos for that Chengar.

Next up on my thank list is Comma-Kazie. A man who we jokingly make fun of for being popular for killing Derpy in his Winningverse alternate universe. But seriously, From the Mouths of Fillies is a good, almost Bubbles-esk story, that is sure to make anybody sad. Then your tear ducts will really get used when you read the great sequel, Changes. Also check out his superb Derpy origin story in the Winningverse, What's in a Name. Comma's story advice and pointing out where I am making consistent writing errors of various stripes have really helped me come along as a writer, and if you have noticed an improvement in my writing over the course of Study, then you can thank this man.

Both Chengar and Comma should be thanked for getting me off my butt, stop just reading, reviewing, and editing, and actually get out there and write. Leading to the creation of Study of a Winning Pony and hopefully other great stories. Their help with getting me started, their encouragements, help, and advice have been invaluable to me.

Next up I would like to thank my small horde of editors: Infinion, Droplet739, Fizzlefist, notMurpy, Garbo802, mrjerrio, q97randomguy, Pav Feira, roflknief, Vhett, and Swiftest Shadow. All of them have been an immense help with chapters 6 and 7 for Study, and their tireless efforts really helped to hammer out all the typos and help point out some issues that needed addressing. So if you all like those chapters, then these guys and gals deserve some of the credit. I've certainly found their help to be invaluable.

Last and not least, I would like to thank all of your who have favorited Study of a Winning Pony and who are now following me. Your positive comments, constructive criticisms, and support drive me on to continue with Study, and take it to its end. It is pretty humbling to think this many people follow Study, and care what about what I write, and I will work diligently to make Study the best story I can make it.

That said, I'm currently working on a short story to add to Winningverse canon. So Study will be very briefly put on the backburning while I type that out. But you'll have to trust, the short story I'm working on should be incredible.

I should be thanking You for the chance to have a tiny part in refining a story like this.:pinkiehappy:

Congrats! A thousand followers is nothing to sneeze at.

No pressure. :raritywink:

Jeez, 1000? Congratulations, you deserve thanks most of all, since you wrote this incredible spin-off. Wouldn’t be anything to proofread or make cover art for if you hadn't decided to write this great story in the Winningverse. It's a real blast.
