A very odd submission · 3:25pm Sep 13th, 2019
So, I'm prepping and transferring over a very, very old story.
The very FIRST story I've ever written, in fact. And no, it's not here. It's on EQD.
I'd always had trouble pushing it to FimFic because of some limitations in the past. The thing works a little better now, so I guess it's time to finally post it to FimFic.
It was originally posted in 2011, and covered the entirety of season 1 of the show from an alternate viewpoint in real time, and also to account for every single weird thing happening in the season. And yes, it was a huge undertaking. I'm still proud of it, even though it's starting to show its age, mainly because a lot of the stuff I wrote about that was 'fresh' back in 2011 is now incredibly tired and base.
It's still a funny story though, so hey, check it out if you want. Since it's so big, I'll be updating it regularly as I transfer chapters over.
I would caution that it does have a very very dry intro (although some people really liked it?) so eh, fair warning. I was very eager to worldbuild 8 years ago, which I think was fair.
Thanks to DannyJ who kinda kept bugging me about it until I caved in. If anything, at least this is a preservation of my very first fanfic.

It just happens to be the one whose word count was listed as "LOTS AND LOTS", so I look forward to seeing what it actually was. :)
I think this is a cool idea. I’m vaguely aware that there were pre-FimFiction stories linked directly as Google docs or whatnot, but actually having one of those oldest fics resurface now is like seeing a dinosaur on Main Street.
