Back to writing! ALSO GOOD ART!

I've FINALLY got my new computer all set up and back from it's data transfer. Horse words should resume shortly. Enemy of Mine is certainly my top priority, writing-wise, and I've probably been set back by y'know, not having a computer. However, I might do a quick one shot or two to flex my writing powers, get used to the new keyboard, etc. Highly unlikely to be anything magnificent, but words are nice. Also, I would like to show off something potentially related to new stories.

Amid the sea of usual tumblr slop, there's this wonderful little art blog that was linked in a server I'm in (it was Krickis' and they're awesome go check out their horsewords 'cause they write great queer fiction and drama!!) and I discovered that they make very good art, usually centered around rare ships, pride, etc.

These pictures are drawn by the mods through requests, and there are many mods + many requests. That's a lotta horse doodles. These requests are always charming, full-color, SFW sweetness AND VERY VERY GOOD.

The blog can be found here, and they're called ponydoodles. I'd highly suggest giving them a request (read their rules first) when they're open again!!

So, I put in a request and waited.

Yesterday, I happened to be checking the blog and OH BOY DID THEY FULFILL IT.

LOOK HOW AMAZING THIS IS. LOOK AT THOSE SPARKLES. LOOK LOOK LOOK. THIS LITTLE DOODLE MADE MY DAY AND Y'ALL HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH I WANNA FREAK OUT OVER IT MORE AND SPAM IT EVERYWHERE ALL OVER AGAIN. SOMBRA IS EVEN THE BLUSHY ONE AND ISN'T THIS AMAZING?? I'VE NEVER GOTTEN ART BEFORE AND LUMBRA ART IS SO RARE IT SOMETIMES MAKES ME SAD AND IS A HUGE PART OF WHY I STARTED WRITING THESE WONDERFUL LITTLE HORSES BUT LOOK AT THEM. THEY'RE NUZZLING. THEY'RE WHOLESOME. LUNA HAS PERFECT EYESHADOW HOLY HECK. LOOK AT THAT GORGEOUS MANE COLORING AND HOW HER PURPLE MANE OUTLINE WAS AAAAAAAA

So I'd kinda recommend them, y'know?

How this relates to horsewords is that SOMETIME AS SOON AS I CAN REALLY DO ANYTHING AND COME UP WITH A PROPER IDEA I'm gonna be doing a Lumbra story again. HOORAY! Something along the lines of what I did with The Care and Keeping of Hidden Castles but maybe a bit shorter and lighter? Again, I'm not sure, just that this is gonna be AWESOME cover art for some Sombra/Luna romance. There needs to be moreeeeee.

It also means that if I ever get any more future requests filled or ever put any in, I might look into doing some romance stories for some random pairings that I like but seem to lack stories. (So it'd be non-Iceverse stuff, but still kinda soft-AU and some new lore stuff. One shots. Short multi-chapters. Something. Or, maybe I'd flesh out some more stuff of the big ol' Iceverse I dunno. Some ships I have in mind certainly would be separate.)

I don't think that this blog counted on any tumblr-less fanfic writers slipping in the occasional art prompt as Anons and such, but here I am wanting to see horses hug and stuff.
