    Reader interaction poll!

    Please check it out here.

Since comments are a little scarce and I’m new to long-form mature fiction, I wanted to do a quick survey. It’s all anonymous but it’s going to be very helpful because of the content slated to appear in the next few chapters. Your votes will help me gauge reader feelings and the intensity of how graphic things will be.

    Pretty Pony Poems

Lately, I have been going through various complete entries in Missing Pages that were too short to publish. I decided that "Just Weep" shouldn't be left to gather dust there. I've since published it as its own story with the addition of eight new poems about Celestia (and Luna) so that it is long enough to count as a one-shot according to the site's minimum wordcount rule. If you read the

    ICE STAR WROTE HORSE SEX

    WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?

Yes. I did. Two horses having normal horse sex. It's a completely serious story, but I decided to go out of my usual skill area for April Fool's Day. If you've been following Stay Golden and you want a quick peek of what's to come, this story is for you.

It's also getting a lotta downvotes for not being porn. RIP in pepperoni.

I had a few chapters of backlog left. Or, a modest update.

I started catching up on what I could yesterday when I saw the crazy amount of notifications I had accumulated. It's certainly going to take me a while and then some to read all of the stories that were published recently. I'm not doing too good; I'll have a blog about that sooner or later. Until then, know that I have some updates for Marigold's story that have been edited and are waiting for

Hi, it's been a while since I've been on here. But enough about me. I need y'all's help.

I'll make a blog about the shit I've been up to some other time. Right now, I'm kind of having a huge emergency -- except it's not impacting me. It's impacting my boyfriend. He's disabled and trying to get a car... the problem is his family is filled with other people who are disabled and they have no working vehicle. They live in poverty. I'm broke from getting my friends -- as well as him and

Hi, it's been a while since I've been on here. But enough about me. I need y'all's help. · 9:23pm January 6th

I'm broke from getting my friends -- as well as him and his family -- many Christmas gifts. I have nothing near the money to help them get an emergency car. I'm asking all of you if you would please share this. The entire family might become homeless. I know this fandom is very generous, and I want to draw on its capability for charity to help people who have a hard time accepting help and are living in genuinely heartbreaking conditions. They won't be able to access much assistance if they can't drive to a Social Security office or a job interview. My boyfriend needs medications desperately in order to help his multiple conditions and they legally can't be prescribed by his family doctor, so without a car, he can't get to a psychiatrist.

I know that many people may not like me, but this isn't about me. No one deserves to be homeless. They have nothing to fall back on. Please spread this around as much as possible.

Here is the link to the fundraiser.

[1] He is referred to as my "best friend" in the fundraiser because his family is conservative. But, y'know, he's not going to be able to move out if he can't get on his feet and get some help along the way.
[2] "Did you break up with your girlfriend, Ice Star?" No. They're the same person. He was questioning his gender for a bit so we just addressed him by different pronouns and with a female name. His character in my stories will still be a mare because he likes her that way, but that's irrelevant.

Just found this update. I'll signal boost this now. Hoping and will pray that he and his family will get the help they need.

Did they have a car before, which broke down?

If there are Amish in their area, the Amish will have drivers they hire when they need to go a long ways, and your boyfriend could use them. There might also be an Uber driver in the area. Using Uber is cheaper than owning a car if you don't use it often.

Thank you ever so much. God bless, man.

Thank you kindly. All boosts are appreciated.

Okay, I've been a bit hesitant to answer this. It isn't because the question isn't important; it's something that anyone has a right to know. Instead, it's because that link alone gives the state, area, and partial name of my boyfriend along with identifying details about family status or household size. Someone with ill intent could easily try to exploit that information because this community has its share of nasty underbellies. So I will answer with what details I can, put as simply and vaguely as possible to try and contribute to my boyfriend and his family not having this information connected to them. I hope that's enough.

Did they have a car before, which broke down?

From my understanding and what I remember off the top of my head. The car that was barely running broke down. It was an older, pre-2000 car and the parts needed to fix it are no longer made, can't be found, etc. The other car is a rustbucket kept by one of the parents and tinkered on in a Sisyphusean-like process even though it is a hunk of rust and will never run again, if it ever ran at all. Hoarders are hoarders. Parent #1 is not emotionally stable or very connected with reality but is a good enough driver. Parent #2 has a TBI, less stability, and cannot drive. Both have irrational beliefs about only buying cars produced prior to certain dates will get them running vehicles and that cars past certain dates can be universally shutdown or tampered with by the government or whatever. As you can see, the territory they're in is neither sane or responsible with money. The family can't afford a mechanic and this would be a mechanic fund if their car could be fixed. My boyfriend may have disabilities but he knows enough about cars to know what qualities to actually look for to determine a solid vehicle. And it will be in his name, which means that the sanest person there will have control over it. And the person who is willing to seek voluntary help.

There are not any in his area that he has mentioned. Also, I'm not sure if they could provide consistent transportation.

There might also be an Uber driver in the area. Using Uber is cheaper than owning a car if you don't use it often.

I've tried to suggest this before but we found too many obstacles. He doesn't have a cell phone because of poverty. Like, all-caps and emphasized POVERTY. He knows that if they can get a working vehicle, that means there will be reliable transportation to work, to appointments, to shopping for food, etc. All the basics. The type of stuff we take for granted. Obviously, saving up enough for the cheapest phone out there would be a lifesaver for him too. And it's a goal.

Thank you again for the kindness in boosting this.

If they have Internet, they can get an Uber using any web browser through m.uber.com. This Uber documention explains how.

It should be possible to find somebody with an obsolete smartphone that they don't want anymore, and then get one of the cheaper services. I use Tello; I pay $15 / month for a very generous plan which is fine as long as you don't stream video. I think they have a $10/month plan. Another alternative is to buy one of the pay-per-use smartphones at Walmart. They are tricky, though: they all have some kind of catch so that you'll lose your number if you don't regularly buy more minutes, so you have to always know the rules and stay on top of them. Otherwise I'd be using one.

Jesus Actual Christ... 😰
If it's not too much to ask — and naturally without revealing anything that some malefactor could use to identify your boyfriend or where in our fair country he lives — what can you tell us about this territory?

Good luck!

I spent two hours browsing the used cars in both Sussex, WI and Horicon, WI.
With a maximum budget of $5K there are zero good options, of course.
72 of 78 results above 150K mileage. Effectively DOA.
1 EV at the end of its battery life-expectancy. Scam.
5 Gasoline cars <100K mileage; 2000-era Cadillac, Jaguar, and Kia brand. Likely irrepairable or expensive to maintain.

I can see cost reduction opportunities in what you've shared. It doesn't appear all available options have been exhausted.

Best of luck.

He’s been looking in other areas too in order to work stuff out. It’s certainly stressful.
