I can already see where this episode is going. Even without it being on youtube, I can still see where it's going. Some artificially-induced conflict that goes against Applejack and Rainbow Dash's personalities, all for the sake of selling a particular lesson.

Honestly, this ep is starting to annoy me. I was looking forward to there being focus on the kids again. Instead we just have them as a catalyst and get another competition between Rainbow and AJ. Not like I'm turning it off, but still.
I really wish we got to see what the first few months of school were like instead of jumping, what, more than halfway through the school year? (I wouldn't mind dropping Maud Couple for an episode of that...) Eight months of getting to see the Student Six bond with the Mane 5, Twilight, and Starlight, gone
Really now, Applejack's and Rainbow's skulls have attained the density of neutron stars in this episode. This feels like way too much contrivance, even by this show's standards.
The students are cool, though. They're easily the best part of this episode. Bonus points for Twilight's eyebrow raising.
Edit: Okay, a couple of extra points for the students thinking that AJ and RD were faking it to teach them a lesson. It doesn't make up for how thick they were, but that joke was legitimately funny.

UGH, this episode was pure CRINGE! I liked the student six but RD and AJ were way too out-of-character in this! I mean yeah, they're competitive, but even THEY know there's a limit! Every time they got at each others throats it fellt completly forced.
